Reminder the religious burnout exists, and that's ok, actually. You don't need to be 100% ready to give all of yourself for the gods constantly. Remember that it's ok to step back, take a breather, and focus on other things.

Also, simple acts of devotion like randomly just saying, "Good night, [deity name]!" is still an act of devotion. It may seem small, but when small is all you can do, that's more than ok. 🧡

This is exactly what I'm referring to, depression. It's hard to keep a regular practice. I haven't had one for months. But I hope I can feel like you, and to be able to rely a little more on Apollo when I need it. For now, the legitimacy is not there ahah

I do not have a dedicated HelPol blog, but I just want you to know you are not the only one who experiences that guilt over not speaking to the Gods when mental health is difficult. They do not fault us. I like to do little things, think about them, wear devotional jewelry, read about them. They always will welcome us back with open arms. They understand, I promise you. It's okay to reach out and talk to them, even or ESPECIALLY if you haven't made offerings in a while. They want to hear from us, no matter how long its been.

Even with the pain and struggles you work through daily, you still find time to worship. And even on the days you can’t you’re still doing enough. The things you go through is awful some days and yet you guys are still so dedicated and you deserve so much rest and recognition.

The gods will never be mad at you for the days where you’re in so much pain mentally or physically that you can’t worship, or offer things at their altar. They’re proud of you for still being here and working through it all despite the pain it can bring sometimes.

Keep doing you, and remember to take breaks and rest when you need it.

My toxic trait as a helpol is that I had a cyst a few weeks ago, I had surgery but just because I don't practice much I don't ask Apollo for anything because I feel that I do not deserve his blessings.
