LaurelSource inactive (July 2025)

Hello everyone, as you may have noticed, ever since arrow finished airing (2020) laurel content has been dwindling down and even original posts here or on my main barely get any notes. I know not everything is about notes, but when engagement is very low, it's not a great motivator. I haven't been as active on here as I'd like to be, but my interest in creating Laurel content (and just dc as a whole) has also gone down. This is no slight against anyone for not making content, I absolutely understand as like i said before, engagement is very low and not many kept interest in arrow this long after its finale.

The reason I'm making this is to announce that as of this post (07/22/2025) this blog, LaurelSource, will be inactive. I don't have the drive to continue. I still love laurel, but Katie has also done some things i don't agree with in the past few years that also kinda put a bad taste in my mouth and don't have as much interest in keeping this blog going. Keeping things active and engaging has been harder each year, and 2025 is no different.

Thank you to everyone that has supported this blog, follower or just someone who interacts with the posts, it is very appreciated. I am going to keep this blog up, it will just be inactive from here-on out. I loved running this blog, I love Laurel Lance and Black Canary and that'll never change, but it's time to say goodbye to laurelsource. Thanks for reading!
