Bad boys in shitty romance novels are bad in the eyes of everyone but the narrative

attempt at making some sort of fanfic for a fandom with too little fics that I never finsihed ;)

It’s cold, its the first sensation he, feels? Registers? What are this words, and what are this feelings?

Wait did he have skin? Either way it felt soft, one finger touching the other, whats a finger? He asked himself. He knew what it was he just never really thought of the word, he knew the name of everything that was around him and yet felt like the entire world was passing by before him.

He stopped questioning it, stopped asking himself how he got here, he remembered the body of the boy, he was dead, bones broken beyond repair, dead things normally stay where they should, but he had seen how the body was found, felt the hands that took him into the ambulance, saw their worry and carefully listened to what they said. His name was Hikaru, that was the body’s name. His name now, he reminded himself looking at the ceiling.

Human skin was uncomfortable, felt retsraining in a sense, like a tight blanket around his ever expansing form, the hands that had touched him were warm, he thought that if he still had body heat it would feel nice to have warm skin around his cold insides. Yoshikis hands were warm, and he confirmed his theory that something warm would feel great around him everytime they touched.

All I’m saying is maybe someone should write one of those crappy wattpad stories where the main character is a weird mix between human and demon, or some other really special never done before thing that will literally change the history of heaven and hell and all that, but this time they actually make the angels weird and unsettling.

It’s such a bore when the demons get all the cool horns and sizes, and they are all evil in their castles made out of blood and then you paint the angels like little idiots with wings, or just good blond boys who for some reason are not meant to be the right choice because they are with the actual evil side or smth like that???

It’s even more tiring when it’s a love triangle and the demon love interest who’s obviously going to win keeps taunting the angel dude cuz he’s so nice and proper and not an asshole. Like??? LET THE ANGEL DUDE BE FERAL AND OFF-PUTTING.

I just feel like the reason I can’t for the life of me thirst or enjoy most romance novels is because the love interest just seem so dead to me.

Like yeah sure he’s hot and that’s appealing, but he is literally just the same man I read about in another book. Yeah now he’s a soldier or a physical therapist or a dragon rider, but it’s like changing costumes on a doll, it the same tasteless plastic.

And I can love tasteless plastic, yes he sucks ass as a love interest, but I would love to read a better written book with him on it. Idk the point here is I can’t imagine myself turning any of this bitches into my poor little mew mew and I think that is the biggest failure of this books.
