You know that situation where you make a seemingly harmless decision and it ends up screwing up your whole life? Yep, that happened to me. Sincerely, Lavellan.

I love to drag our Commander into awkward conversations.
Today's topic? Celibacy. The pinnacle of teasing.

So it was decided.
Despite my great fears and reluctance, I was sent to the Winter Palace. I'm comforted that both Cullen and Cassandra are even more disgusted by this court visit than I am.
The goal of the Inquisition is to prevent the assassination of Empress Celene and ensure peace in Orlais.
Hahaha what a simple task…
Our ticket in is Duke Gaspard, who is desperate to seize the throne. I'm supposed to meet him in the courtyard by the fountain.
Wish me luck.

Another day, another meeting with advisors…
But today was something different. Has anyone noticed how …um… differently …Cullen is suddenly walking around? I won't lie, I might have stared a little. And maybe I'm a little out of breath.

Guess who came back home. He disappeared for three days, and even Leliana couldn't track him down.
I know he was mourning his friend so I ran to greet him. I told myself earlier that I would be more tactful when it comes to other people's feelings, so again, as expected, I said the first thing that came to my mind.
Josephine will be disappointed that her diplomacy lessons are of no use. Add some gibberish and I'm starting to be like Sera.

Why does Commander always scratch the back of his neck when he sees me?

"You know there's an extensive library below us? Go read the stories there."
I did a little research on Leliana. There is no doubt that she is an excellent spymaster, but I knew next to nothing about her past. So I was quite surprised when it turned out that she was a close associate of the Hero of Ferelden, the Queen. I also learned that although she spent part of her life as a cleric, she used to be quite a successful bard. With a fondness for beautiful shoes.
So I went to ask her if she would tell me some interesting stories and the answer was the sentence written above. So much for building new friendships.
Me - sad dalish face.

My advisors are incredible.
Josephine can send anyone to hell so kindly that the person in question will thank her for it.
Leliana knows about everything that happens, even at the cost of sometimes leaving a trail of blood behind her. I won't lie, she scares me.
And Cullen? He is impressive with the natural authority he can command his men, who clearly like him. And yet, when I find myself alone with him and just want to chat or get to know him better, he turns into a precious stammering cinnamon roll.

As a Dalish, I have a basic understanding of the Templars. We didn't live completely in isolation, although we avoided people quite a bit.
But what I definitely did not know is that the Templars take lyrium. When Cullen told me, I was quite surprised. We Dalish mages used it very rarely - on the one hand, it could only be obtained for us on the black market, and on the other hand, a strong addiction arises from it, which gradually turns into insanity.
Cullen decided to end his addiction to lyrium as soon as he left the templars order and I only support that.
I've heard stories from Cassandra about retired Templars living on the streets of the city, begging for change to buy at least a sip of lyrium. I don't care if our commander is a little weaker without lyrium, but if he ends up like those retired templars, I would never forgive myself.

It's hard to watch when two of your close friends are fighting. Or maybe one is trying to kill the other…
Like I understand. Cassandra captured Varric, interrogated him for a long time, and finally transported him from his home of Kirkwall to the Inquisition. Varric didn't come willingly, but he stayed willingly. So I understand why he's so bitter towards her, but at the same time I don't think Cassandra dislikes him. She was acting on the basis of her best conscience and knowing what had to be done.

Oh, look at that beautiful villa in the middle of the forest.
It looks abandoned, I guess we'll take a look inside. What could possibly happen?
Oh well, hell, demons.

I'm not exactly a tactful and diplomatic elf. In our clan, such things were simply not played. I've always been more of an elf who told things exactly as they were.
But suddenly you have a loved one who has just experienced the personal loss of a friend and you really want to say something… I don't know comforting. And this is what comes out of me.
I guess I'll take some speaking lessons from Josephine.

Today we set out to rescue Solas' spirit friend. I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect mages to defend themselves against the invaders by twisting the spirit into a demon.
I didn't even expect that some magical idiot would try to convince Solas that he knows everything about spirits, and what brought me to my knees was seeing a really angry Solas for the first time.

Dorian got a letter from his father today… to be more precise.
That letter came into my hands - from mother Giselle. I don't know what the old lady is up to, but she doesn't like Dorian and I have a feeling she wants him out of my presence. And if she could also pass it off as an act of grand reconciliation for a powerful family, so much the better.
I refused to lie to Dorian, so I showed him the letter. I think we'll go to Redcliffe together. After what he said about his family, there's no way I'd let him out there alone.

I wanted to talk to Varric about what happened between him and Cassandra, but he was still angry.
I understand his point.
I'll try later. There is no word yet with Cassandra either. And when I take them somewhere together, it's one scathing remark after another. From Varric it should be noted.
But how can I blame someone for wanting to protect their friends? I would do the same.

Our march through the Emerald Graves had left me pretty tired, but I still wasn't as bad as Varric.
He kept repeating that we should leave him there. That he has short legs for this. And that he doesn't understand how someone can do so much walking voluntarily and as a hobby.
I needed to shut down a bit, so I cleaned up in my tower. And there Josephine surprised me. With tea, biscuits and great stories from the latest political escapades.
I'm glad we have her here

I am heartbroken.
I came across the Dalish camp, the elves were searching for anything that could revive our history, infuse the truth into our memories and memoirs. Something that won't be distorted by the Chantry, something true.
I walked around the ruins of elven glory and wondered how magnificent their realm must have been. And all that is left to us is exile or enslavement.
Note: Next time, don't take Varric into the forest, the fresh air gives him a headache.
