I remember thinking, before the season aired, that the one snippet from an interview with one of the costume department we got was probably exagerrating a bit. The one that was like "yeah Ed spends a lot of time wet this season so we had to keep switching the wigs to let one of them dry off."

And man. Ed really did spend a lot of time wet, didn't he. Driving the ship into a storm, in the gravy basket, the entire underwater sequence, when Lucius pushed him overboard, after diving to retrieve his Blackbeard outfit, when Stede used his captain voice - (I am shot by the sniper on the roof before I can go into further detail)
