Teeth

Has anyone else noticed that in the largely female horror/monster artist  community on DA and tumblr (myself included) tends to focus a LOT on teeth, mouths, and violence as a consumptive act (there’s a lot of cannibal characters is what I’m sayin’) and that seems as a bit of a weird counter to mainstream horror and monster art where violence is nearly always penetrative? It’s usually knives, chainsaws and blades, heck even the Alien had a phallic mouth used to bore into faces.

Is this even a thing happening consciously?

Sending love to all the lesbians out there who use a short version of their name because it sounds more boyish and more in line with their personality. Plenty of lesbians have done that through history, generations after generations, and plenty of lesbians do that still today, it’s part of our culture and will never not be a thing. Be proud of yourself, you deserve to. 😘

also... there are people in this world who identify as lesbians and are attracted men. you don’t get to tell them they’re identifying incorrectly. 

not sure why identity seems to be this Totally Untouchable thing to you but, yes actually, we very much can tell people that they are identifying incorrectly if they are literally misusing words and disregarding the definition of them.

a lot of the lesbians that i personally know, myself included, don’t like being called q*eer because it feels like it’s somehow leaving our sexualities up for debate. it feels like people are scared of the finality of “lesbian.” if i’m a lesbian, that means no men, whatsoever. i love women and women-aligned people. but if i’m q*eer, that can leave so much to your imagination. maybe i like men, maybe i don’t. maybe it’s just my gender up for discussion, maybe it’s just that i don’t fit the status quo. going out of your way to call all lesbians q*eer instead of lesbians means that you don’t respect our right to the only identity that has ever truly felt like it’s fit us. i don’t want to be called q*eer for several reasons, but i especially don’t want to be called it OVER lesbian.

Suggestion to feminists: stop wearing makeup

Benefits:

Girls will see bare faced women

Society will be less accustomed to expecting women to wear makeup

A male CEO will not have your money in their pocket

Your money will be in your pocket. You can buy weed with that

Your skin will feel better without harmful chemicals on it

Eventually they'd have to stop making that shit

Less microplastics in the ocean

Less animal testing

You'll have more confidence in yourself
