Pfftt... Sesshomaru's kindness towards Rin? Like what has he done in Yashahime to say that he was "kind" towards Rin. He kidnapped the babies without letting Rin even hold them, didn't say a word to her, never interacted with her when she was awakened and was dying in the tree. Oh and she was awakened and had her curse progress much faster because Sesshomaru cut the dream butterfly that was slowing down the progress of the curse. That's.... kindness? That statement definitely falls true for OG Sesshomaru who took in a ward.

In Inuyasha, Sesshomaru showed kindness towards a child (Rin). And now, in Yashahime, when we got an OST named after both Sesshomaru and Rin, the music composer comments that this OST displays the kindness of Sesshomaru towards child adult Rin.

Judging by the comment, whether it’s Inuyasha or Yashahime, it seems like there is not much change in the dynamic between Sesshomaru and Rin.

Sorry about the 2 month late reply 😭😭😭 It's hard to keep up with SMs nowadays.

When I saw this ask, I thought someone got doxxed, deadnamed or bullied again, and then I realized that this was the first thing I thought? I haven't been involved in any other fandom wars but the drama around YH was toxic af. Don't know if that's normal in the anime fandom. Ever so often someone was getting bullied or doxxed. I hoped that the harassment would go down since YH ended like few months ago, but nope.

I also see a lot of Japanese comments! While Yashahime related posts had comments from mostly western fandom. Weren't there people saying that Yashahime is for Japanese viewers because *insert cultural excuse* and not for western audiences? Whatever happened to that?

Practically none of her posts have reached so many likes. Here I selected three of her recent most liked posts (and a retweet about yashahime's manga which barely reaches 1.4k 😂 so I don't think it is very popular) and none come close to what just happened with Kagura's post:

And I don't think this means other characters aren't popular or loved. I'm not trying to imply that. What I think is: this is related to everything that happened with Yashahime and the enormous support Kagura had.

Additionally, I find it interesting that, after the end of HnY, her posts about Sesshomaru are not nearly her most liked ones. I don't know why I thought that MirSan twins are 2. I probably thought that MirSan got married in a year after Kagome left, then you have 9 months of pregnancy. So when Hisui was born, the twins must have been 2.

Also, to your point about Sota.

S1 EP 21: Rin's yellow kimono was shown the first time, out of the blue and Kaede talks about "mother Rin".

S2 EP 21: Sota is uncharacteristically shown in yellow t-shirt. His usual colors are more towards cyan.

There’re people who ship Setsuna with Hisui . I can’t remember any romance implied by them . Maybe I missed something 🤔 what do you think about this ship ?

First of all, let me tell you that I think Hisui is at most 2 years older than Setsuna. I mean he was looking like this👇 when twins were supposedly born.

That being said, I don’t mind the ship. I find it funny because it is pretty obvious that Hisui is attracted to Setsuna but Setsuna is really dense. Setsuna is young so I hope she takes her sweet time before falling for anyone.

Hisui’s attraction was hinted in episode 7 first when they are slaying a demon together and Kohaku comments that they are getting better at working together.

They share some quality time together in EP 30, where Setsuna is forced to impersonate Princess Aiya and Hisui is forced to impersonate his sister Kin'u and be Princess Aiya’s (Setsuna’s) etiquette instructor. It was funny again because he was making Setsuna write poems and take lessons of etiquette.

Setsuna doesn’t want to study and this guy keeps on pushing. Rightfully so lol.

And now this episode he was almost going to confess to Setsuna.

So Princess Aiya has been sending request letters to Hisui and Hisui tells Setsuna that he doesn’t understand why.

And then he get’s cut off by Setsuna and she takes her leave.

The show has been hinting on them, but the series’ main pair would RiTowa.

Why is kirara always with the twins. They are always using her for transportation. Can’t they run like inuyasha did in the OG show or walk like their deadbeat dad. Kirara is meant to be with sango and her family. Like how does hisui fight without kirara?? Does the twins just take her without asking which wouldn’t be surprising because like their no where to be found father they are selfish. I just hate that in season 1 the twins were given everything that should have been given to moroha like kagome family or sestuna being sent to a half demon hide out led by the little girl that the inukag saved but now in season 2 it’s just seems like the Mirsan family is being pushed aside so the pedo family can share the spot light with inukagmor.

Coz their Dad didn't provide them with A-Un. I would understand if Setsuna asked Hisui for Kirara occasionally, but it's not just Kirara. I can excuse the twins as they are kids, not s*ssr*n.

Ironically, even though they were pushed aside, MirSan have more "couple" moments and more "parent-child" moments than s*ssr*n.

At least, they tried fixing the "transport" issue because S2 travel was mostly on Takechiyo's back, foot or cycle.

This poster is just something else. Kirara.png was not needed to be placed there. She just isn't a part of that family. And even if they wanted to add her as a cute mascot, she should be with Setsuna with whom she spent the most time. Not be sitting near Rin's foot 🙄.
