i always see posts talking about how "oh, autistic people CAN do things on their own and we dont need to baby autistics!" and while that is true- and you should never infantalise an autistic person- there are also autistics who cant do things on their own and do need assistance for some/all areas of their life.

so, to all the autistic ppl who DO need a high level of support:

you are not invalid.

you are not stigmatizing the autistic community.

you are so valuable and have so much worth.

you do not harm the autistic community by being who you are.

you deserve the help you need and/or want.

you are not worth less because you need help.

you deserve love and care.

you are not "too much" or "not enough".

you deserve to have your needs taken care of like everyone else, regardless of how much help you need with that.

and you deserve to be treated with as much care and respect as anyone else.
