Hey guys! Hoping everyone left here has been doing well. I come to you all in a time if need. I’ve left the sims community some time ago now. I’ve been learning the world and living this experience called life. I found a love for houseplants and to the point that I wanted to work with them daily.

I worked at a greenhouse in my home town for a couple months in a seasonal position. I was thriving in my position and was labeled as one of the best seasonal hires immediately. A few months in I experienced a very first hand level of racism.

One of my coworkers looked me in my eyes and n-word in reference to myself. This had been a journey to this point since I took a big pay cut to do what I love. Unfortunately I had to quit on the spot and start my online plant business. I knew in that moment I had too much self respect to be disrespected daily.

I’m reaching out to a community of people that I know love and care about me because I know I need help. I run an online plant shop. I’d like to be able to provide a living for me and boyfriend. We’ve been putting all of our energy into this company bc we know we need freedom from corporate America.

the joy of life legacy challenge by @simelune 35 generations to keep you playing.

as i was looking for legacy challenges that were being updated as new packs came out, i had the thought "hey, why not just write one myself?" so here we are! i'll do by best to add new generations as time goes on, but seeing as this already has 35 (!!) generations, i think we'll be okay for a bit.

a few notes:

this challenge incorporates mods. i tried to include options for players who do not use gameplay mods, but some generations are built around them.

this challenge uses (almost) all packs. some generations are based off specific packs though, so you could pick and choose which gens you want to do.

this challenge has story aspects. there's a lot of room for you to come up with a story yourself each generation, so have fun with it!

some generations are longer and more involved than others! this is meant to give you a bit of a break and provide variety between generations.

wanderlust legacy challenge part one

hi guys welcome to a new legacy challenge! i’ve had the itch to make a new one since coming back to simblr, so here goes. 

you need all packs to be able to play this legacy challenge fully

the premise of this legacy challenge is: each generation has it’s own world. you are only allowed in the world of the generation you are currently playing, or the worlds of generations past. for a “hard mode”, only allow yourself to play in the current generations world. this means, no leaving the world for dates, days out, events, parties ect. 

tips: at the start of each legacy challenge, you have full rein to do whatever you would like to the world you’re moving into. add new community lots and townies. make the world you’re playing in fun and exciting. include as many types of community lots you can. once the generation begins, you are not allowed to edit your world any further. (apart from editing sims if they grow up ugly for example lol)

note, your sims are allowed to interact with townies from different worlds, but they are NOT allowed to marry them, or go over to their house. you MUST marry a sim from your generation’s world.

rules, or not so much rules: you are allowed to play this legacy challenge as loosely or as strictly as you’d like. preferably you will use no money cheats, job or skill cheats, but honestly play the way you enjoy the game! use any sort of mods you like to enhance your own enjoyment. this legacy challenge is here for fun after all. 

you can play this legacy challenge on any age length! just no pausing aging. normal aging is recommended, short aging is definitely for hard mode, but i personally enjoy long aging so it’s totally up to you. you can also have as many or as few pets as you’d like unless specified otherwise.
