Happy Fundamentals Friday! I love drawing angular, ripped characters but my feminine ones need work. So I studied feminine faces the last 2 weeks and thought I’d put out some guidelines I’ve found helpful! Feel free to add anything I missed or has helped you in the notes. Happy drawing!

sadistic beauty - thoughts on recent chapters

i’m lowkey hyped for the next ones to come, bc we’ll probably see more of minho and doona along with wookyung and doona’s rivalry as wookyung tries to get minho while doona tries to protect him. since minho and doona have a lot more plot to unpack, i’m glad it’s established once again. honestly, i really dont like haesol lol, so i just want the author to hurry up and show us the whole minho and donna sittuation along with wookyung as an antagonist.

 i have had lost hopes with this webtoon, but i can see they have been going with minho and doona as the main plot since it seems to tie everyone together or well mostly, gyerin is just a random girl tbh lol maybe she’s there as haesol’s support. this is just my personal thought, and i think haesol might end up with someone else other than doona as he knows doona doesn’t want to date, but he does. as stated in ch 98 when he talks with gyerin about relationships. and she wants one, but she doesn’t get why haesol is still pinning for doona even if they’re just sex partners.

and if it works out with minho and doona, well haesol is def out of the picture since doona has always wanted to be with minho, but i’m not sure, as we can see minho is very far from redemption. and as a minho and doona shipper, i’d have them end up together only if they talk it out, minho seeks therapy, doona too probably, and they work together lol. but regardless, i’d want at least their story to be resolved and done well, and have them move on if they won’t end up together. 

also ch 98 was so cute bc jong woo and doona are just talking about the past and the present. and they don’t have to have sex y’know plus jong woo is in a relationship already. on the topic of relationships, donna always thought of sex as sex and she doesn’t want to date, but now that she knows jong woo has a serious bdsm relationship, it opens a path for her to have one. 

so yeah, as a romance story, we can’t be sure who she ends up with yet since, admittedly, doona and haesol are much more gentle, but doona doesn’t want to date. and haesol is honestly a simp which is a problem in itself. and minho and doona are toxic asf, but there’s a lot to work on, and as fiction, it’s much more interesting to unpack this imo. also im biased bc minho is my fav character even if he’s an asshole. u dont really see a lot of assholes like him be a bratty sub so it’s mostly why i love him as a character. and as for gyerin well she wants a serious relationship, and doona doesn’t. wookyung definitely just wants sex and wants to dominate, he’s pinning for minho, and doona well she def doesn’t want to date him. so the strongest contestants are haesol and minho. whoever the author wants to pair together, i just want it to be done well. even if it’s not my ship, please just write it well.

The First Cartoon LGBT Representation That No One Talks About

With many people talking about the 2010s cartoons being progressive by  representing LGBT such as 

LGBT weddings 

Main characters confirming their gay/lesbian/bi 

and side characters being gay

But as someone who was born in 2000s in Canada, there’s one cartoon LGBT representation that I barely hear anyone talk about and that is Jean from 6teen.

 She first appeared on the 89th episode of the show where Nikki befriends her and was curios if she’s lesbian or not.  Unlike most shows where they have to hints that they are gay and show it by the end, 6teen just spill the beans by having her say “Yes, I’m into girls”. 

And then they show her going to prom with a girl 

This is probably the first cartoon show that represent LGBT in the most chillest way by telling that she’s into girls. No hints, no waiting till the end of the series or anything, just flat out saying she’s a lesbian.
