Final Concept
For my Title sequence “Around the World in 50 Years” my idea was to play off the concept of what Albert Podell desk might have looked like when he was first starting to write his book. From travel journals to tickets to pictures I wanted everything travel related I could think of to show a traveler and writer in one. I even made “plane tickets” in photoshop to one of the locations mentioned in the book for Podell and Steve, one of the people that traveled with him to many countries.
For the graphic part I wanted it to be similar to the moving news paper and pictures in the Harry Potter movie. In the title sequence as the camera goes around the desk and map the camera focus on certain pictures along the way. Once focused on the picture the picture comes to life and shows a quick seen from the “book” ( In actuality the pictures and videos are my own that represent some of the most memorable moments from the book). Its meant to be similar to when you get so into a book and for a moment you forget that you’r reading a book and not watching a movie or at real place because the scenes become so vivid in your head they almost become real to you.
The font (Permanent marker) was specifically chosen to give the feeling that the credits where written on as if they where notes in a travel journal.

Title Sequence Final Decision
“Around the World in 50 years” a true story by Albert Podell
The title sequence will start focused on a map with photos on the edge. The camera will pan around to individual photos on the map and once on a picture the camera will zoom in and the picture will turn into a video with a credit. Then the camera will pan back out and do the same thing again. After doing some credits with pictures on the map the camera will pan down to a desk that has a travel journal with pictures and writing. There will also be an old camera, plane tickets and a computer. The Journal and plane tickets will have credit information and the camera and other picture on the desk will do the same thing as the photos on the map. At the end the camera will pan to the computer where the other will be writing the “book” and the title will be at the top.

Equipped with a magical army of unstoppable clockwork creatures, the Club is out to rule the British Empire, and only Tessa and her allies can stop them.
3- Around the world in 50 years My Adventure to Every Country on Earth by Albert Podell
A non-fiction book about how Albert Podell first, set a record for the longest automobile journey ever made around the world, a deadly and exiting trip in which he came within seconds of being lynched in Pakistan, and lost three of the five men who started with him, two to disease, one to the Vietcong. Although it took him forty-seven more years Albert Podell set another record by going to every country on Earth(196!). Some of which, because of global warming and rising sea leaves no longer exist. In the book Podell talks about how he faced major dangers such as riots, revolutions, earthquakes, civil wars, tsunamis, voodoo priests, volcanic eruptions, robbers, flying crabs, deadly snow and sand storms, corrupt cops, and Cape buffalo. Sufficed to say he faced major events and dangers, nun of which he went looking for. He ate everything from old camel meat and rats to dung beetles and the brain of a live monkey. While danger is exiting his books still has fun and light tones to it that over shadows the danger and be the last page has you itching to fill your passport with as many stamps as possible.

Title Sequence Inspiration
#3 Inspiration “Teen Wolf” Season 4
This is one of my favorite title sequence because of how it focused on each main characters and their credits are featured. Each Character getsTheir own focus and dramatic moment. I also love the use of dust and powder to add dramatic effect. They also add little details that tell you about the show such as the cross bow falling and the tattoos showing. Those are all vary important symbol to the show.

Title Sequence Inspiration
#2 Inspiration “Catch Me If You Can”
The main thing I love about this title Sequence is how the fount and the animation interact with each other, having the letters with straight lines come down and transform into the animation. I also like the color choose, each “scene” has its own color, blue for airport, yellow for pool, and green for hospital. The animation drawings are also simple and consistent making its beautiful and seam less.

Title Sequence Inspiration
#1 Inspiration “Game of Thrones”
I love the title Sequence for Game of Thrones because of the transitions. When its going from one place to the other the screen glides across the map, Smoothly transitioning from one place to another and once it reaches the location a credit pulls up but your still focuses on the scene. I also like how they lay out all the main locations of the show, through amazing 3D graphics.
