An easy way I trade in STRESS for BLISS is by reading an inspiring new book or topic I’m interested in... . . ✨ After doing a multi video training from Napoleon Hill... on Amazon Prime last week... . . I’m shifting gears & immersing myself in this parenting book by Dr Mate I’ve really enjoyed hearing lecture in the past... . . It discusses a phenomenon called peer orientation, which has been going on for such a long time... it’s also incredibly relevant to adults . . ✨ My son is enjoying all of these Bedtime Tale books by Arthur Scott Bailey, and I’m loving the higher level vocabulary sprinkled throughout you just don’t find in children’s readers anymore . . ✨ My daughter is enjoying the McGuffy Ecclectic readers & the humanitarian touched in this as a 9 life path number... . . • M is 9 🖤• . . We celebrated her birthday this week 🌟, and enjoyed a nice full day of stories of her as a baby, tot, and all the memorable moments in between. . . This year she opted to go on a shopping spree for Calico Pets Toys 🛍and a yummy dinner at Rainforest Cafe 🐘 (she loves the robotic elephant!). . . Being the rainbow 🌈spirit child she is — of course I wasn’t surprised when she found a light that shown across her sparkly outfit... in the image of a rainbow. She insisted that this had to be her 9 yo photo 💗. . . She’s a natural stylist & designer 👩🏻‍🎨 . . • Poetry Teatime with my babies yesterday after Taco Night • . . 🌮 Buffet dinners where everyone can add or leave out what they want are a big bliss creating factor in our house . . ☕️ M loves to host these after dinner Soirees with her porcelain tea set — and snacks like peanuts... or ricecakes with some sort of topping she gets to craft up. . . 😂 Eddie loves to do things that needs correcting so that they both 👫 see what’s polite vs. not, etiquette wise. It’s hilarious because we all know what he’s doing. . . 💗 I love seeing M polish her leadership & executive functioning skills in this gentle way too. . . 🌙 To raise strong daughters we need to give them opportunities to practice this gentle powerful art. . . 👩‍👧‍👦 The same of course applies to us as women leading our families and the curious eyes looking up... seeing how we are CHOOSING to move through the world 🌎, online or IRL. . . 👉 Day 14 is up in my private FB group The Burst Into Bliss Circle (For career & biz hs moms looking to reconnect to their bliss). Fun times at the Spray Park after orthodontic adjustments and cleanings with the babes... . . Dad and I love joining in (and I especially love 💗) tapping into my inner child — to reconnect to what the joy of being in the moment feels like 🌟; right along with my children. . . Even though we had a long day of appointments... it’s so important to always make room for the fun and make it a point to always end on that note 💫 everyday. . . Standing under the buckets 💦 Visualizing your aura being washed clean... . . ✨ Being infused with bright and new energies from the water ... . . 💦Crowning you with renewal... . . ✨ And all you need to do is - step right under it... (or whatever element you have around you!) . . All of these instant grounding and cleansing opportunities are available to us every moment 🕊 . . This example is a simple yet refreshing way, to maximize what’s around you and reconnect to bliss right before bed 🌙. . . The week of July 15th was the week I decided to start living a freedom based lifestyle when I started homeschooling my 2 children 🌟... . . The process started when I started my event planning business while I was pregnant in 2008... but the birth to an “ALL of the areas freedom based Life” - didn’t happen til July 2014... . . We’ve mostly been doing the 3Rs over here these first few weeks of summer (all the while I keep thinking we.must.finish SOTW soon!!). . . But what can I say... aside from being outdoors & beaching 🏖 they haven’t been very focused or caring much about making it down to hang out with Ziggy (our AAR zebra, whose also a makeshift curtain holder 🖤) most days lately. . . During times like this when summer fever 🌞is full blast, I scale back to the 3Rs... and table the rest. You can also get to those at bedtime... I’m going Days of Yoga... and this is what Day 5 looked like looking over at mama while she’s stretching out... (In my stories at @blisslived with my journalings of the experience). . . Them: “When are you going to FINALLY put your kids in regular school?” . . Me: “When are you going to FINALLY quit your job & become an entrepreneur?” . . I.E. don’t dish it out if you can’t handle it coming to you right back... . . Don’t tolerate people disrespecting, GASlighting - or trying to take you for a sucker - in any way, shade, shape or form. . . Shut it down 🙅🏻‍♀️ . . Just because you’re sweet, kind, giving, soft spoken and spiritual... doesn’t mean you’re a doormat or a sucker. . . Standing in your power encompasses detachment (yin) and action that empowers your truth (yang). . . Honor and defend your boundaries. Whether they’re physical , energetic, emotional or just quite simply your time ⏰... and what you’re willing to entertain. . . What you allow while homeschooling, in business or in relationships - is what will continue. I would not be writing poetry... getting inspired whilst making tacos 🌮for dinner... and grabbing a piece of junk mail to jot it ALL down on... if I wasn’t a homeschooling mom 🤷🏻‍♀️. . . With the busy life I had it would just not have happened (and my kids wouldn’t have been around to witness it)... . . But as a Homeschooler I truly multi task - and I let the 7 muses have their way with me, and I stop to surrender into creativity and what lights me up 🌟 in any spur of the moment. . . I’ve learned and reconnected to this from watching my children. . . In turn they’ve seen me at work, juggling, figuring things out and pouring myself in self learning and so much more. It’s such a synergistic blessing💗. . . We said goodbye to our friend Katie the horse at a local sanctuary park. . . We’ve been visiting here since they were tiny babes and they’ve really grown to love each and every animal there (and also knowing them by name..). It was so sad to see she had passed away after seeing her slowly deteriorate due to health issues 😢. . . Before writing these remembrance statements, we talked about eulogies — what we remembered and loved about her... and the life cycle in general (birth, growth, death). . . Everyone we get to know and love does get to live on in our memory and hearts 💗and that reminder did bring comfort. My 2 babes over the weekend... 🌞planning the most elaborate castles, moats, and sand designs... . . We’ve lived near the beach since they were born - so as you can imagine, we’ll all be going through a big transition not having those negative ions so close by, once we’re in the woods! . . Change is never easy, even if it is exciting at the same time.. . . The lakes, streams, rivers, and new wildlife to explore - are beckoning us along with the wonder + magic of lush Forrests 🌲.... but we’ll still miss the seagulls and the ocean so close by. . .
