Hi. I'm learning to draw at 25 and this is Day 1. I've drawn a Pear. I know you might be thinking why I started at Digital. Let me just say Traditional drawing and I have a history. I used to draw anime like every other kid but was severely discouraged. The last time I tried was in College for one of our minor art Lessons where they put a bunch of fruits in front of us and told us to draw it. I've drawn it yes. But it didn't even took 1/4 of the paper. Cue the laughter and comments of lack of imagination. I probably cried myself to sleep that night. Digital brings me a sort of freshness and pushes that particular memory back in my mind. Anyway, here's a pear. Shadows and highlights are all over the place but this is before the lesson. I'll post the After later.
