Ok but why was the camp a month long when mentioned in season 1, but only two weeks long in season 2? The math ain’t mathing

In case you’re wonder how my mental health is, I’m currently writing hsmtmts fanfiction while listening to the “How To Train Your Dragon” soundtrack.

for all of the ej slander we have endured this season, i am willing to accept an apology in one of four ways:

1.) ej gets an emotional scene in which he breaks down and has a heartfelt song dedicated to him, like all of the other struggling characters have gotten thus far (some have gotten multiple songs).

2.) ej gets a hot villain bop in which he corrupts the entire show as a last screw you all to the cast who has been nothing but inconsiderate of him

3.) ej gets a heartfelt ballad in which we can all begin to sympathize for him until it takes a sickening turn into a hot villain bop

4.) ej gets with ricky

what if they do what sharpay did in hsm 3 with ej, and make him assistant director for hsmtmts s4? because his character still has so much to unpack and honestly i just need to see this man happy

WTF did they do to him?!?

What was the narrative purpose of taking a character who spent the better part of a season paralyzed by a fear of rejection to… have that fear proved correct? His girlfriend broke up with him, his father outright rejected him, and in the end, he was right that there was something between a friend he described as HIS BROTHER and a girl he loved… AGAIN?

What was the point of putting him through Duke and his dad in season 2 if THIS is what Season 3 was going to do? What on EARTH was the point? There’s no growth from here that he hasn’t already gone through, what’s the purpose to the pain? Why did the story give him a “redemption arc” through seasons 1 & 2 just to leave him… here?

EJ, you deserved so much better.
