Hey everyone on the acotar fandom, so I just saw there was some fat-shaming for the actress Danielle Rose Russell about a rumor of her being Feyre in the soon to be made tv show and I am so sad and ashamed to see what the toxic part of the fandom did to her. Fat-shaming people is not okay, its so wrong on so many levels, and what was done to her its such a bad thing. It was just some gossip and you all got quite toxic about her being too fat to play a character who is malnourished and hungry at the beginning of the story. Is an important character trait of her? Yes, BUT it is not everything she is. There exists so many options to make her look slimmer like CGI, which was used on Kristen Stewart on Twilight or on Josh Hutcherson in the Hunger Games. So please STOP with that negative comments She is so beautiful and so young so there should be no negative comments made, lets try to spread postive vibes to her, because she must be feeling so low with what happened. And I mean look at her! She is the perfect Feyre we all have been looking for
She has the looks and her acting is good, so people please PLEASE lets all be respectful, we were not a toxic fandom in the past, so lets not be one in the future. I know acotar has a special place in all of us, so we should be happy and grateful for the tv show.
Now she is my perfect fancast of Feyre Archeron along with Alycia Debnam-Carey as Nesta and Phoebe Dynevor as Elain💕
Please all lets try to be open minded and especially and the most important RESPECTFUL, we werent in the past toxic so lets not be in the future neither, love you all💕
And lets try to spread positive vibes for that young actress, cause even if she is not Feyre she was hurt and it is soo sad✨

Just found out (on tik tok of all places) that Danielle got bullied off social media and I am so enraged. This is not the first time she's had to deal with people body shaming her. It was only a few weeks ago that someone wrote an awful article about it. Honestly, when are people going to realize that actors are real people and can see what you write about them on social media.

To the people who fat-shamed and sent death threats to Danielle Russell,
Calling someone out and fat-shaming them because they followed the author you like and might get casted for your favourite character is disgusting. For all you know she could just be a fan like you and me. You should be ashamed of yourself as an human being and a book reader.
You aren't a real fan. You haven't read many books and you just came across this book series because of the romance and now you are feeling possessive towards it because you need a sense of belonging somewhere and it shows. You're just jealous because she's where you wanted to be and it shows.(yes I said that!)
You need to get over this, they are fictional characters. You won't find a god-like Rhysand or a perfect looking Feyre. Stop hurting real people over the bodies. and making yourself the smaller person here. If you don't like her just don't watch the show. Just have the books and envision your perfect characters,be happy and let others be happy.
Sincerely
A true and happy fan.

“All you children playing with fire, looking surprised when the house burns down.”
—Ninth House, Leigh Bardugo
If you’ve read all/a lot of one author’s books, what would be your favorite from that author? 😆
I know the Grishaverse is getting a lot of attention now because of the upcoming Netflix series. I too am *A FAN* so I know I’m just another person staring into space, wishing for April to come sooner, instead of reading the thousands of other books on my TBR. 🤣
I have to say thought that my favorite L. Bardugo book is Ninth House. It’s dark academia. It’s adult. It’s shocking and mysterious and oh so atmospheric. I definitely need more, but I think we might get a delay on book 2 because of all the Grishaverse stuff, so I’ll be here crying that we don’t even have a title for Alex Stern 2 yet. 😭 (but also not because as I said I ALSO LOVE THE GRISHAVERSE 🤣)

What was the last book that gave you “The Sequel Blues” aka “Why Was this not as Good as the First Book/Previous Books??!”
A Torch Against the Night is unfortunately mine. I’m a bit surprised by all the 5 star ratings I saw as I found this installment, for the most part, dragging. I have a whole ranty-ish review on Goodreads, but I can try to sum it up here:
Pros:
•Helene’s POV chapters were 👏🏻
•Gah Keris Veturia I love how evil you are. Also I am here for Marcus going insane. 😈
•Please tell me what Cook actually is or was PLEASE
•DID I MENTION HELENE MY POOR VICIOUS BABY BE STRONG 😭
Cons:
•Laia is SO BORING AND ANNOYING OMG why is everyone so obsessed with her 🥱
•Cringe-worthy love triangle + instalove *shudders*🤮
•The “mystery” aspect is being dragged out. I get that this is just book 2, but at least supplement this with more interesting scenes??
•”BIG PLOT TWIST”...that unfortunately involved a character that I did not care about...like, at all. 🙄
I’m happy that a lot of people liked this book, and I did LOVE An Ember in the Ashes, but I’m very unimpressed with Book 2. I will still be reading A Reaper at the Gates because HELENE, but...I need Laia’s chapters to be...shorter..... 🙃

Have you ever forgotten to do something, critical or otherwise, because you were so engrossed in the book you were reading?
Guys I actually forgot to put Baptism of Fire in my "Currently Reading" shelf on Goodreads because I just wanted to keep reading/listening and it was SO GOOD!!! This is hands-down my favorite of the series so far!
Looking back, this book actually did not do much to further the plot, but all that happened here was just plain fun for me. We once again have Geralt and Dandelion as a team, PLUS a whole new gang of characters that were individually interesting and distinct, and just made for a merry band of misfits that I loved adventuring with!
Zoltan Chivey in particular, a dwarf that had such an entertaining and likeable voice (DWARVES ARE SERIOUSLY UNDERRATED?!?!) became an instant favorite! ❤️
I loved the adventure-feel and chaos of this book. Geralt's main mission here was to get to Cirri, and he and his company encounter all sorts of trouble, and a few monsters and enemies that need the Witcher treatment. 😲
I felt that this book brought back the humor and magic and fun that I recall in some of the stories in The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny. It reminded me a bit of The Hobbit actually, that sense of being on a journey surrounded by good company despite being in the midst of a war. 😊❤️📚

What is a book/series that you never thought you’d read, but ended up loving?!
I though I’d just start off my new theme with more Shadowhunter photos! If you saw my post yesterday, you’ll know that Cassie Clare’s books mean a lot to me. I distinctly remember myself seeing a copy of City of Bones at a bookstore maybe three years before I picked it up thinking “This doesn’t seem like my kind of book at all, I’m probably never going to read it!” Oh you poor summer child you. And here I am now, praying for more and more Shadowhunter books to come out. 🤣
I also don’t get why I see some people complaining about the amount of Shadowhunter books there are, or how Cassie is “lazy” to keep working on the same world over and over?? Like, you don’t have to read them if you don’t want to, yeah?? 😂❤️📚

If you’ve read The Mortal Instruments, which one is your favorite book?
Mine is definitely City of Heavenly Fire! I loved seeing the ‘conclusion’ of the original cast of Shadowhunters, and there were so many funny bits here despite the gang going through so much hell.
I will also never quite get over the “His eyes were green.” line, which made me sob like a baby who was rudely woken up from a nap. It doesn’t make much sense out of context, but for those of you who know, YOU KNOW. 😭😭😭

What is a book that isn’t exactly underrated, but you also wish more people would read and love?
I remember seeing Vengeance Road and Retribution Rails along the times they were newly released, but I hardly ever see them now on bookstagram. I absolutely love these two! They’re both Westerns and that’s not usually my thing but man I sped through these in one sitting as they were both so addicting with very memorable characters.
The author @heyerin has a new book coming out on April called Dustborn, a post-apocalyptic Western for fans of Mad Max and Gunslinger Girl. I haven’t been reading too many post-apocalyptic books in a while but I’m genuinely excited for this one! 🥰❤️📚
