obsessed with who everyone was to each other I'm their first year at ever after high

Did the wonderlandians only ever hang out with each other at first? How long did it take for them to branch out?

Was Raven just a passing face to Apple? How many actual conversations did they have?

How many friendships that had previously existed dissolved? How many people reunited and became friends again? How many lifelong friends had been made in that first year?

We met these characters when they already had history together, other than like... Cupid. I desire to know everythinggggg abt these characters bro

This is so dumb but do you think Ever After High was the first time C.A Cupid had to like contend with mortality?

Because death isn’t really a thing in Monster High. Or rather it doesn’t really come with the same permanence.

In Monster High monsters are for the most part separated from normies and either have life spans that extend beyond there’s.

Or are just straight up immortal.

And even in the case of death, zombies, skeleton monsters and ghosts exist. But even then normies don’t need to die to become monsters as we see with the De Niles and the Jekyll-Hydes.

Monsters come in all shapes and sizes, supernatural creatures, mythical beings and even created artificially like Robecca and Frankie.

Death is a thing but it’s not the same as it is in Ever After where it’s simply the end.

Like imagine C.A Cupid hearing Briar talk about how in 100 years all her friends will be dead. And questioning how old they all must be that a measly hundred years takes them out.

Hearing it’s someone 16th birthday and being confused as to why there’s no zeroes added afterwards.

Hell the whole drama of signing the Story book of legends is that they’ll die if they don’t.

Just be wiped out of history forever and that’s a lot to deal with for someone who’s probably never had to deal with death like this before.

Man you send a girl to fairytale school and she has an existential crisis…although that’s practically the tagline for EAH so it’s pretty fitting.

Crack concept: Ghouls rule except instead of trying to execute Holt the normies try to give Jackson an exorcism.

Because the monsters know fuck all about normies and normies know fuck all about monsters.

So they just assume Jackson’s being possessed.

His friends are all behind the scenes trying to make this whole thing seem like it’s working.

The real kicker is the normies haven’t performed an exorcism in the last century. And so monsters don’t really know about it either other then it’s a thing that happened.

So everyone’s relying on movie knowledge to get them through this.

Jackson is just lying on a bed hiding a pair of earphones so he and Holt can switch to look convincing.

He hates every second of this while Holt is having the time of his life.

Ngl I loved it when they showed that Briar is like doubting the system. I loved it when they showed Ashlynn and other royals doubting it too. It really was interesting to see them do that while others like Apple, Duchess, and Daring were obsessed about theirs. It just shows you that one person speaking out and trying to create change can lead to others realizing that they also don't have to deal with this fucked up system. I wish they played into that more. Having them learn more and more about how fucked up this system is. Make them feel the pain that students like Raven have to feel when they realize they will have to hurt their friends and loved ones for this stupid destiny system.

Welcome to Ever After High Weeks!

Follow us for many events to come! We're planning on running 2-4 weeks a year dedicated to characters, ships, and friendships, for as long as there's interest! This will hopefully encourage more joy and attention to characters or ships that don't often get as much love.

NO sign ups will ever be necessary! Any forms of media for fanwork will be welcome (fanart, fanfic, edits, moodboards, playlists, fansongs, cross-stitch, recipes!) -- anything you can think of, we'd love to see. The only qualifier for any events is that the work must be new, original, and your own!

I do think a lot of people would be upset, like they were with the monster high reboot (Clawdeen x Deuce, Cleo x Frankie) but I feel like the eah fandom has a lot more variety in terms of ships.

Like i don't think there is a ship that everyone agrees on, even canon ones. With monster high Cleo and Deuce were a long established couple, but we don't really have that in ever after high. The only long term couple (i can think of) was Apple and Daring, but even that was a weird relationship because Daring went out on dates like a lot (Lizzie, Cerise and probably others since even more people had a crush on him) and that relationship was put to rest when Apple and Darling happened and Daring got with Rosabella.

AND even those ships aren't set in stone. People don't really ship Daring x Rosabella or atleast they don't really interact with the ship and Apple is still shiped with a lot of other people than Darling (most popular Raven but also Briar, Daring and probably others too)

Thats just one example but I don't think there is one character with a love interest they deffinetly get with, which means people are far more open to changes

Discussion time:

I know that EAH isn't likely going to get a reboot/revival in any way.

Hypothetically, though, if it did, how would you guys feel if certain canon ships from the original series didn't become canon or more underrated ships became canon in a new generation?

How would you feel about the writers changing some of the things going on with the characters' issues?

My biggest fear with this happening, personally, is, if they ever do that, it'll just bring out the older fans who are so comfortable to the original that they'll whine and attack people who defend the reboot.
