hey guys! sorry to say, we're putting lotd down. taking it out back, even!

to preface, this decision is completely unrelated to any drama surrounding the blog. we've just realized it was unsustainable for us, collectively, and held pretty bad memories.

it's been fun! taught us all a lot about working with a team and comics and stuff! you guys have been a wonderful community, and i wish it could've lasted longer.

i’ll be flushing out the askbox of any fanart, and then we'll be closed for good. feel free to follow any of our main blogs if you’re interested, we all do art!

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE TEAM

hello! with regards to orcatstra's allegations here, i would like to state: we do not support sa, we do not support zoophilia, we do not support cyberstalking, and we especially do not support harassment. there is no proof for any of these accusations. (there are receipts for the opposite; we have been constantly encouraging people not to harass orcatstra.) as has been addressed, two of the mods are themselves victims of sa. needless to say, these allegations are especially disgusting and violating when directed towards us in particular.

this is the last thing we will be saying on the matter, assuming things stop here. our goal was to never have to address any drama here, because this blog is intended to be an open and welcoming space to all fans, and we want to be responsible community members with what we communicate to our moderate following. but there is no place for this kind of behavior in our fanbase.

all that said, here's a general status update: the blog will be going on an indefinite hiatus. we will return at some point, but we're down a mod (since ardent has stepped away) and the others are struggling as well. it's a combination of burnout, along with feeling unsafe in this space due to the way we and others are being treated. so: we're taking some time and space, getting our footing back, and eventually we'll return with fun new content for you guys.

hi! mod ardent here. the other mods had no hand in this post, this is just me speaking right now - don't bother them about it.

we try to keep this blog separate from fandom drama, but orcatstra is currently accusing me/us of being "pro-rape" because, on my personal blog, i said that i disliked him. i am a csa survivor, a victim of more recent sexual abuse, and someone who has professionally diagnosed c-ptsd as a result of these things. not only is this claim utter bullshit, but it is bullshit that is incredibly fucking cruel and disgusting to be saying towards me personally, given my background.

i am stepping away from the internet until i feel safe in this community again. catch y'all on the flipside.
