Hello I am experiencing Financial Troubles. Here’s my stuff.

These are my traditional fully-done works, they come to about $40 per (for pieces like these.)

These are traditional semi-colored works, they come closer to $25.

These are traditional sketchworks. They can range from $3-$10, with the top left being representative of $3, and the right being representative of $10.

These are traditional paintings. They depend almost entirely on the palette and subject, but expect them to reach or expand over $70.

These are digital posterlikes, they can range between $20-$70, with the left being representative of $20, and the right being representative of $70.

This is digital referencework, and usually lands around $20.

This is digital full-body single-character work. It can range from $30-$40, depending on complexity.

This is digital iconwork, which boasts a severe lack of modern examples. prices can range from $15-$25 depending on customization.

This is experimental digital chibi work, and is usually the price of another category, just in a different style.

This is digital variety, a category based upon sending me an amount of at least $8, and you being dealt whatever I decided to do with the specifications provided.

All prices are in USD, I will provide payment information privately, though I live in the US.

Traditional works have the option of sending the original copy to the commissioner, but at a very high price.

Hello! Welcome to LFD, a blog about Legendaries.

This is a Command Input based blog, meaning that you are either capable of asking the characters questions, or commanding them directly. Note that characters may sometimes refuse to execute commands, however.

Entering “–>” or a variation thereof into the askbox will cause the story to move forward without inputting a direct command.

Onto the rules:

- No hi or hug asks. Asks and interactions MUST have some sort of substance to them for me to work with.

- Characters refusing to execute commands will often be because the artist does not feel as if it works for who the character is. We will NOT tolerate people giving us or the characters shit for them refusing.

- On a related note, joke commands are allowed, but will never be executed. They will only be replied with some kind of joke, depending on the character and the command.

- Just… Don’t be weird. God, please just don’t be weird

((not necessarily a question but i really love how you design your characters ✌️How long do you usually think about the design before it comes to be ? (kay i guess its a question))

Long post under the cut! I'll be breaking apart designs NOT JUST FROM POKEMON.

Okay, so, the short answer is, I think about it a lot. Mostly because I don't have a lot of time to design characters! So they sit in my head for a while and I start to come up with a lot of aspects to their designs. You'll notice that with characters that haven't received the same treatment (the hybrids, some of my trainer OCs) will often be lower quality than the things that I had time to think about. This is normal! Time and effort is what makes a design.

I'll begin by dismantling some of the characters on these blogs, and then I'll dig deeper into some personal OCs.

[smacks the roof of this big boy] Palkia's original ref, for one, is a VERY good example of an idea that wasn't complete before I made the ref. You see in later updates featuring him that things were changed! His snout changed shape, and he gained more face markings. But, I knew I always wanted Palkia to be more fishlike. When it comes to Pokemon, the Pokemon's typings make a huge impact on how the design comes out. (psst! he's a dolphin. :])

This can be observed in Dialga's design, who had a bit more time to cook. Technically, he doesn't have any more metal parts than he does in his canon design, but the metal is spread more evenly to make it seem as if I've added more. I also changed the shape of the sundial bit because I thought it was stupid <3 As observed in Palkia, he takes a real-life influence from crocodiles, so he ended up with a scale-like pattern in the shape of shards or diamonds. And then I gave him ears to give him more expression-ability.

Seeing as Dialga's Liepard disguise came after his original ref, it ended up being just a tad better fleshed out. He's all fancy! Accessories are a Big thing on simpler designs, if you want your fancy boy to be fancy, give him a hat!

Purity is also a character who appeared before she was fully fleshed out. You can see in the very first update of AHZ, She was actually red. The moral so far is that I never leave designs set in stone, Once the ref is done, I'll often (very quickly) make more changes to the design.

Amira is my most underwhelming character design. This is intentional! It's not been addressed often, but Amira is underdeveloped. She's missing a lot of the traits a Celebi SHOULD have, and the traits she does have aren't quite right. Of course, she still received edits, such as her legs becoming more like chibi stubs, and her eye markings were made much smaller.

These two characters were made in the same afternoon and you can tell. Bloom has been a character for a long time, I always wanted her to be shiny, and I always wanted her to be white. Callie, on the other hand, was a bit more crowd-sourced. A lot of his traits were determined by others, and he looks quite a bit like Bloom, despite being completely unrelated to her.

Bloom had been cooking for a while, and Callie's entire character was made in the same afternoon the ref for Bloom was completed. If you want to make a buncha characters look like eachother, your best bet is to make them all in the same afternoon.

Faria was created in just a few hours, and she's a disaster! She still looks great, because Lunala was already a character I was familiar with (We'll get to familiarity in a second) but I wasn't at all ready to draw a Yveltal, and it shows. If I were given more time and was familiar with Yveltal, she would've turned out much different.

Kain is another character who was created in just a few hours. The thing is though, Eternatus and Mew are two species I am already very familiar with. I already owned two Mew OCs, and Eternatus is my partner's favorite Pokemon. The familiarity of the two Pokemon made them incredibly easy to work with.
