JRPG Races

Humans

The dominant race on the planet with several kingdoms spanning the planet. They are the most versatile and adaptive, though amongst the most short-lived. They can learn many different talents or specialize in one area. Their life expectancy is usually between 70 and 90 years, though some have been known to live longer.

Dracons

Most commonly known mistaken by the name of the more legendary ‘dragons’, they populate the world in quite a steady number. Large, lizard-like, and with varying powers, they are intelligent and revered in their own right. They tend towards living in colonies and mate for life. Their life expectancy can be anywhere between 500 years to several thousand.

Dragons

They are few in this world, but are ancient and quite powerful. Gods in their own right who govern the natural flow of the planet and all that live on it. Temples are built in their honor and it is said that the Great Creator made them all in His image before resting on the seventh day of Creation. True Dragons are immortal. They are often known to mate with humans and Dracons alike, creating demigods and other creatures.

Draconids

Once the holy liaison between the Dragons and Humans, they were wiped out thousands of years before the time of Ciro Harmonia. The Creator took pity upon them and took their souls and placed them into the sky as stars. They say that each star in the sky had once been a human soul that had been cruelly snuffed out by the Lord of Darkness in ages prior. When the world is threatened with chaos and imbalance one star is thrown down to the earth and is known as a Draconid. It is through them that peace will be granted to the troubled peoples of the world. Though not exactly eternal, a Draconid will live as long as their star in the sky will - billions and billions of years. 

The Dragonborn

A being born of human and a Dragon deity some times. Most times a Dracon has mated with a human and created this half existence of a child that normally lives out its first 20 years of life, torn between being human or dragon. Most choose to become a dragon at 21 years of age, though it isn’t unheard of for one to become human. Due to their strange genetic makeup, they are stronger, faster than most humans and can even rival most Dracons. When choosing to be a dragon, the Dragonborn may live as long as one.

AND WE’RE DONE. got the basics out for all of the RPG au templates. Any questions/complaints/concerns/notes before I get to working on the sprites?

Okay so, what if it really had to be Rosa, Ciro AND Lucas, because it wasn’t feasible with just the first two anymore? Because, originally there had only been two heroes at the time. One per dragon. But wait. WAAAAIT.

There’s a fucking THIRD. There. Is. KYUREM.

We know why Rosa and Ciro are there, because energies but what if that wasn’t all? What if because one was more truth/ideals than the other? What if, their magical energies dragon force (the EARTH itself) and Rosa’s magic (powered by the STARS) had to be exactly that? Two opposing and complementing forces that would be held together by the container -- like Kyurem -- and thus through this meshmelding thing of forces and dragons, you get the Great Dragon.

However, along the way, Kyurem doesn’t remember or just plain forgets how to channel the two heroes’ energies evenly together? Here comes in Lucas as the adapter or the new Wuji. The thing that binds the two new heroes together, helps them do the thing. What if that was Kyurem’s original function in summoning the Great Dragon?

So this is my thoughts on this.

It isn’t so much that Adair + Shinra = Kyurem + Resh + Zek = Great Dragon in JRPG Land.

It’s (Ciro + Rosa) / Lucas = Kyurem + Resh + Zek = Great Dragon. Something along those lines. I’m not math is the best way to explain it. amdfvdsmfvdsjf

► The feather ribbon gives her protection from Flying types attacks. It was a gift from an old warrior whom she once fought alongside.

Dragonborn Strength  ►Gives an automatic addition to STR when in combat with non-draconics. Dragonborn Agility ► Gives an automatic addition to AGL when fighting on the ground  Dragonborn Armor ► Clearly, dragons are more durable than humans. Provides additional DEF against swords and axes; he’s still vulnerable to magic and archery.  Dragontongue ► Ghetsis knows ancient and modern draconic and thus can communicate verbally with dragons, along with hearing their hearts.

Active Skill(s) 

Lightningbending ► Ghetsis can attack enemies with lightning strikes. Usually this exhausts most of his energy “reserve”. Used only in dire situations, most likely 1x/day Dragonborn Flight ► Flight capabilities without being in a dragon shape. Good for a very needed getaway 1x/day Draconic Form ► Ghetsis can technically turn into his dragon form, albeit it’s hard to turn back into a human shape. 1x/week, if he even uses this.

Comes with a noble looking dark cloak. HP 20 | Hardness 15 Longsword ► 19–20/×2, one-handed & used for slashing attacks. Shortsword ► 19–20/×2, one-handed & used for piercing attacks. 

Paladin’s “mount” His close friend, Hydreigon. A guardian Dragon-Type who came with Ghetsis on his journey. They have a strong bond. It is speculated that they will feel attacks even if only one takes damage.
