legend of the moon eater: an 18+ hsr & gi roleplay

welcome to takipsilim: a land wrought with chaos. the bakunawa — a serpentine creature with a voracious appetite — ate the moon, before vanishing without a trace. ten years have passed since then, and now, takipsilim is an archipelago shrouded by the darkness of an eternal night. creatures called aswang roam the land in search for human flesh to consume.

in the present era, the last remaining humans are incredibly vigilant. they wield themselves with salt and garlic to stave the creatures away, and they are much more difficult to catch.

to amend their food crisis, the aswang began to create portals from other worlds, capturing humanoid creatures from different universes. it was a stable source of nutrition for a few months, until they stumbled across the planet of teyvat and the expanse of space explored by the astral express.

humanoids from the world teyvat were summoned on mount buntala, while humanoids from elsewhere are were summoned on mount bituin. though significantly weakened, vision wielders and path followers alike fought off the aswang bravely, before scattering across takipsilim to take refuge.

the aswang still guard the portals to the other realms, if only to pick on the unlucky few humans without powers for an easy meal.

the stragglers of the foreign realms cannot save this land, they find out. this apocalyptic wasteland is a fight they are not a part of — they can only watch as the natives of this land fight for their country, and figure out a way to bring these outsiders back home. until then, the vision wielders and the path followers can only do one thing: survive.

- a literate, sandbox style roleplay server set in an apocalyptic world based on philippine mythology
