April is National Alcohol Awareness Month. I am grateful that my sobriety date is 11/29/2000. Before turning to alcohol & drugs, I suffered severe anxiety & depression. On the outside, I almost always wore a smile on my face. I tell you this because we don’t know who is suffering. If it’s you—please don’t be ashamed to reach out to me or someone that you trust. The worst bites were around the neck, and more than likely this baby survived a coyote attack! We saw a coyote on our walk a couple days before he went missing. I was so afraid...but, I didn’t give up hope! My ferocious little fur baby survived 3 dark scary nights in the thick woods scared, alone, wounded & filthy. He’s a fighter & prayer warriors prayed all across the country. A hunter found him this weekend and the family found me & we were reunited last night. My miracle baby is out of the woods, but wasn’t sure with the bite wounds inflicted that he really was “out of the woods”. The staff at Forest Animal Hospital got him in this morning. They cleaned the wounds and he’ll be on 2 weeks antibiotic plus cleaning 2 times a day. Look what I just got! A text with this dirty little angel! Sampson is alive! Praise God! 🙏Best Christmas 🎁 ever! Thank you all for your prayers & shares! A hunter found him in the woods this weekend about a mile or so (i think. I’m still in shock and can’t remember everything they told me). He was cut up and shaking and took him home...through social media shares they located me! Thank God! Thank all of my MS friends and my new MS friends for helping me! Y’all! I’m so happy! Thank you all! He’s got some wounds that are healing & a gash on neck that after bathing is open and looks like he got in a pretty tough fight out in the woods. So grateful he is alive .He is a tough little thing. 🐶 We’ll find a vet tomorrow. Please help. Sorry I’ve been MIA and not kept friends in loop. I’ve had a heavy year. For those who don’t know, I’ve been helping my mom and step dad for 7 weeks now and Sampson’s has been my security blanket being away from hubs and Wyatt for so long. @musiccitypaynes went to moms to help me so I could come see my dad who is now in hospital for 2nd time in week. I’ve asked for prayers a couple times over last several weeks without details, but my family needs them. 🙏💛🙏. I do too. 💛Today asking for prayers for Sampson. I am just sick and sad and feel helpless. Just found out that while I went to see my dad in hospital yesterday. Sampson ran off from my mom’s house in Smith County MS Highway 481 South area Trenton / Burns/Pulaski. They live in a heavy heavy wooded forest area with lots of wildlife & as little as he is...he thinks he’s a lion. He ran off chasing something. David R Payne has been on 4 wheeler for hours with hurt shoulder broken wrist. Thank you love! He even had a friendly neighbor William Vinzant help too. If you know anyone in smith county ms.
