this is a reintroduction only in technicalities, because even though i made an intro for writeblr, i did absolutely nothing. fortunately i've since graduated hs, so now i can actually do stuff 👍🏽 yay!

𓇢 WHAT

i've been drawing and painting for longer than i've been writing, so this blog is a general basket of all things i create. my bigger writing projects are mostly worldbuilding-heavy fantasy, and these motherfuckes do take their time to develop. i also dabble in poetry-writing and short stories, which i do post here. usually. sometimes .

my recurring themes are an insight in culture, its artefacts and cultural dynamics, the human condition and how to navigate it, grief and love (intristically tied), the little rituals of everyday life that keep us together, gender, and post-colonialism.

𓇢 WHICH

CHAOS THEORY 🏗 ⚖ is a webcomic in works with a few novella / short story off-shoots. 𓇢 on a continent wherein the human has married the machine not so soon after she began her discovery of the surrounding world now grows a tumor of a nautical empire, slowly digesting the land alive with its dreams of Carbon and asciension to the higher self. a group of workers inside the so-called Furnaces decide to up the stakes, causing a strike aiming at the root, which might either swallow them whole... or who knows. ━━━━━━━

TEGUMENT 🧿🐟 is... it's own thing. a narrative with drawings and stories written in-between. set in a cassette-futuristic world and centers on insanily codependent lesbians who want to reach godhood as one, while also dealing with a growth spurt of fake idols and a growing gap between their identities.

Show Summary: A runaway, an experiment, a prophet. Divine soldiers chosen by cruel, hungry gods find themselves at odds while serving in a world-splitting war.

Episode 1 - Behemoth: Arthur attends his going-away party, and Halcyon cuts through a ritual. Meanwhile, away from Celeons, Valiance signs her papers.

Episode 2- Open Wounds: Valiance goes under, but someone else wakes up on the table. Arthur adjusts to his circumstances and sends a message to his father.

Episode 3 - Birds: Haunted by prophetic visions, Halcyon seeks his mother’s advice, and Astor makes a terrible mistake. Teresa keeps an eye on things.

Episode 4 - Well-Fed Beasts: Arthur’s secret is bled out of him as his city watches, and Astor learns the truth about Halcyon’s life before the church.

Episode 5 - Serpent Tongue: Valiance and Dove slip up before their research team, and Arthur’s god offers him an escape. Halcyon is sent on a holy mission.

In the beckoning hours of twilight, Anjali weighs a tempting offer as Kiraan struggles with the weight of his memories.

EPISODE 2 — Two for Joy

Kiraan leaves with a note and a broken deal; Anjali gets to know the heart of her captor. On the other side, Laithe plots an escape.

EPISODE 3 — Three for a Girl

Shiban is not all that he seems, and Kiraan wakes up in a world he'd rather forget. Chains are held. Bonds are stretched thin.

EPISODE 4 — Four for a Boy

Kiraan becomes stuck in the confines of Brigid, the heart of the Court of Spring, and between an unfamiliar group. Beltane begins.

EPISODE 5 — Five for Heaven

Quincy makes her mark; Kiraan begins to let go. Meanwhile, Anjali gleams it all from afar, her faith in her brother slowly fading.

The girl shudders, then plunges her hand into the pot on the stove for a hard boiled egg. She grips it tight, despite its warmth burning her palm. The shell cracks and digs into her skin as she runs it under cold water. Her thumb continues to run along the egg until the entire shell sits at the bottom of the sink and her fingers begin to prune. 

Then she stands, idly eating her egg, unsalted and unaware of the strange gaze her sister in law leaves her from the bathroom doorway.
