@phoenixpearl-ashes and I put together pokemon teams for some of the Disco Elysium characters for shits and giggles, but it ended up being such a fun idea that I drew them! They might drop the explanations/full teams for these guys and other side characters I didn't have time for, so shuffle on over there.

Kim with his Staraptor and Harry with his Feebas, Herdier, and Glameow. I wonder why he's looking so sadly at Glameow? :)

Cindy, feeling so much like a member of team skull (name and all, lol), was the inspiration for this in the first place. Obstagoon, Snubbull, and Qwilfish suit her so well.

Couldn't help myself with this one, she would just fuck off on a Lapras when the going got rough.

Last but not least, one of the coolest things we did: A parallel team for Dora Ingurland and Dolores Dei.

Because Harry would absolutely deify anything associated with her.

Highly recommend trying something like this, it really was a blast figuring out thematically appropriate, materially realistic, and occasionally funny pokemon pairings for these characters.

finally finally calling this done! I've had this on the backburner since 2022 and I'm so happy with how this little gif came out! Between my kind of terrible methods of animating and complete hatred of drawing backgrounds, it's a miracle I actually went back and finished it. Maybe I'll throw her in one of those youtube "playlist of songs to relax and study to" videos.

Been playing a lot of webkinz, and now I can't stop drawing my favorite little guy. Her eyes are a little scary to me in game, so she's always wearing sunglasses there, but I wanted to draw her with big wet eyes. I'm already so so excited for their 20th anniversary!

edited her into her room :3 (tbh because she's not using the standard head-move pose they use when looking in game it's kind of scaring me. Giving haunted webkinz creepypasta energy, whoops!)

Been workin on this for a while, finally debuting my little guy! I've wanted to make a sona for a while, since they're so fun to play around with, and my pfp character isn't super interesting to me. Me and @lemon-grenades played Signalis this week. (when I say we played Signalis I mean she played Signalis while I watched and recited useless trivia from the wiki and occasionally was an INCREDIBLE navigator (got us even more lost/killed))

Totally forgot to mention in the last post, but I was also inspired by ‘A Hare and Leg of Lamb’ (1742) by Jean-Baptiste and a few other works with a similar premise from a visit to the Cleveland museum of art a while back

Hunting imagery has always been an interest of mine in art, and I don’t get to explore it as often as I’d like. I’ve written about historical examples much more often than I’ve tried my hand at making them myself, and as interesting as hunting imagery in Early Roman mosaics are to research it’s not really engaging in the same way as making something yourself.

Obviously I don’t have the level of skill to accomplish the gorgeous texture and lighting in this painting. but I’ll have fun doing my own thing and learn along the way :D

I’ve been starting out in painting after doing mostly digital and traditional drawing, and it’s been a real jump. I’ve really enjoyed mixing blood colors though, very fun and tactile, especially since blood and paint can have similar viscosity and dry similarly. Most of my stuff has been kind of cute, so this new piece was a nice change of pace (it’s still cute to me tho)

This here is a work in progress, I’m tryna make like a cross between a rabbit pelt and dissection, looking forward to coloring the organs!
