Stressed, brain dead, at least two dozen hours of studying, losing my mind along with all my friends, tired and somehow still sleep deprived - less than 24 hours before my first exam.

We can do this despite how it’s looking.

Exam Season Resolutions

I'm so grateful that we have the Easter holidays AND study leave before exams, but the lack of structure worries me that I'll slip into bad habits. To try to prevent that, I've written a list of resolutions and I'm posting it to keep me accountable. Hopefully this goes well!

Always be in bed by 23.30 and awake by 07.30, no excuses - get into a good sleep routine.

No more than 2 coffees daily.

Energy drinks only in emergencies.

Do not exceed 1 hour of TV daily.

Try to stop bedroom from becoming chaos - quick tidy every night before bed.

Wash hair every 2-3 days at the very least.

If ever miss a task on study plan, do not ignore - reshuffle to complete at a later date.

Even i if don't study at all, post daily to pressure myself.

If anyone else is in a similar situation, feel free to use this list! We can keep each other motivated.

5/25/25 Sunday day 7 of finals review

I forgot a to do list yesterday but I was still working!

-continue to do math packet

-pull together and review notes for history, do a brain dump on everything

-make note cards for physics and look over presentation and website

-do all vocab sets one more time and do a brain dump for poetry

im so, so tired. i think its fair to say that ive entirely exhausted myself.

today i wrote up extensive notes for history, did some math review, tidied up everything for physics, and reviewed vocabulary and poetry for english.

i am very burnt out from studying math, ive done so much review and yet it does not feel like enough. i am in a very, very good spot for review and i do feel like i genuinely could take the exam and now and be in a good spot.

day 5 of studying for finals, last class day

re done from the one yesterday

-reread history notes and reread SPRITE category charts. make flash cards for maps and do them until memorized. re-do SPRITE charts after re-reading notes (maybe).

-continue to do second math packet

-look over EVERYTHING for physics and make sure it's all working smoothly

-memorize all new vocabulary and run through old ones again. continue to memorize poetry terms. memorize the individual cantos for song of myself and do flashcards for poems. reread all poems.

*stay up late to do this!

day 4 of finals studying. making it a day in advance as to not go entirely insane.

-finish math packet and print out the second part of the review.

-reread all english poems, preferably multiple times. look at all old vocab words again and start to go over new ones.

-finish the rest of the history review (both of them). look over maps in relation to list passed out in class. create map flash cards with voyages and cities and practice - a lot.

-look over physics presentation and website and clean everything up. possibly add more interactive elements.

It’s raining on campus and I’m the most focused I’ve ever been at school. Had a very productive first period and then break. Hoping to get the dreaded math packet done before lunch. We are so back. We are locked in. We are so fucking back

The grind doesn’t end until may 30!

Now time to go get some ice cream before I go entirely insane.
