燦々の太陽 - My glistening Sun

Wow, this piece turned out much different that I planned 😅

There was an art meme on X to draw a sapphic pair after a book cover (scroll down to see the original cover). So I wanted to draw Ritsuko & Alexandra just like an adult couple, but then I thought Ritsukos face looked so young in the sketch that I changed them to teens. Next step was that I fumbled a sun in the background & wanted to give Ritsuko an ethereous vibe ☀️

So I ended up with more sun & glare & a pinch holyness, & now I'm pretty happy how it turned out 😭💜

I love how Alexandra looked up to "her glistening sun" & how she has a ray of light in her face & onto her hair - seem's like she will gonna be blessed ✨

So much detail and the costumes and the expressions! I think this is legit the most menacing way anyone has ever held a flute.

I believe Nappa really was a bodyguard for Vegeta, especially when he was a kid. Of course Vegeta has a higher power level, but wars and battles aren't always about power level. Nappa has more experience, more knowledge of survival, more understanding of battlefields. There must have been plenty of times where Nappa actually saved his prince's life.
