Obsessed with Akira and how he communicates like. He is just not in the business of sending texts more than 4 words long, and I like to think it goes further than that to where he will just be sending singular words, a string of emojis, or just a series of images that only kind of convey any sort of meaning. He’s just not big on texting in general, and if his friends don’t know what 🧍💥🍜 means then that’s just life babey 😎 Fortunately he doesn’t have to worry about that because Ryuji is always there to be like “hell yeah I wanna get ramen later 💪” Everyone is constantly baffled by his ability to parse meaning from some of the more nonsense ones, but he never gets why bc understanding Akira is like second nature to him, and I think this extends beyond his incompressible text messages like. Sometimes Akira just does not have the energy to talk, but Ryuji is always there to speak for him when he needs. They’re just so in tune with each others quirks and tells so it becomes easy for them to communicate without words, which is useful for when Akira starts going only semi verbal and he needs someone to help fill in the gaps. Idk I’m just so insane about them knowing each other so well they don’t even need to speak, they just understand one another and I think that’s beautiful :3
