here's another genshin oc i have,, this one i created wayyyy before selvi but i only just updated her art and design so here's fubuki!!!

hydro claymore user who's about 500 or so years old, give or take. i remember walking around enkanomiya before seeing and floating ray and thinking "wow i should make an oc based on them" and so i did. she's a descendent from an ancient enkanomiyan civilization of floating ray people, which i completely made up. or not. i've completely forgotten enkanomiya lore atp. to people she seems standoffish and mean but she really isn't, it's just a result of being alienated and ostracized for a long while, and despite her being pretty old, she does not have very great social skills, though she is getting better, and while she does sound weird and overly formal at times, she can be very friendly and nice, like how she is with kokomi, and how she could've been with yae if she had tried to get closer to her back when she first came to inazuma city, which she does partially regret. she had passed by inazuma city and the yae publishing house before leaving to go back to watatsumi island after the vision hunt decree ended, but she couldn't bring herself to actually visit yae, she felt too ashamed after she practically ghosted her lol (yes yae somehow got ghosted by two women during the same time period) and now that she is living somewhat more permanently in watatsumi island, she does kinda long to go back and visit yae to make things right and to also stop having only one friend ever.

when she did first come to watatsumi island again, id imagine she'd be pretty surprised at how much things have changed, as have the people. and while they'd be somewhat friendly with her she wouldn't really get close to them or open up, except kokomi who shed feel more connected to, and would be able to speak more freely to. i think they like to read the same books and discuss them together for fun, like their own little book club. as for general gorou, they're only on speaking terms because of her connection to kokomi, though she doesn't see him much at the shrine and so doesn't talk to him often.

alsooo i like to think that fubuki would meet selvi in an event where arlecchino is going to inazuma on business, and selvi insists on tagging along, and so they run into her while they're in inazuma city (fubuki being there to talk to yae of course, and i would imagine yae also appearing in the event too) and fubuki and selvi would rlly be able to relate to eachother with the feelings of otherness and alienation and whatnot, tho selvi wouldn't REALLY understand it quite as much, it's more so to remind fubuki that she needs to stop being stuck in her own head and remember there's other people kinda like her out there.

anyway that's all! sorry, i can’t promise that this is my last genshin post for a while ok😭😭 i got re-absorbed into this and i just rlly like these ocs. and here's them put together

i made a genshin oc,, I KNOW I KNOW not very "i hate genshin" of me but,, theyre so fun to make and i cant even lie about that. i loveddd drawing this girl and thinking up a story for her (more stuff abt her under cut)

as said in the pic, her name is selvi, shes a pyro bow user (yes im giving arlecchino another pyro bow user child). ive wanted to draw a genshin oc inspired by seelies for a long while now and ive only just managed to sit down and actually draw her. i hope she looks at least somewhat like a character in genshin. alsooo ive always wanted to see a pyro character that uses blue fire so ive decided selvi uses blue fire.

i based her design mostly on khaenriahn clothes + a little sumerian, but honestly i just did most of it without references and hoped for the best.

she has zero sense of self preservation and so she has come close to burning herself A LOT after getting her vision, but thankfully her siblings at the house of the hearth have mostly kept her out of danger's way. id imagine she spends a lot of time with lyney as he helps her get better at using a bow with her fire vision, though it doesnt have to be specifically with a bow, id imagine she trains w other weapons too. meanwhile lynette is the one who does her hair every morning and help her dress, and sometimes take her with her while she runs errands for arlecchino.

arlecchino always knew selvi was kind of an odd child. between eating grass and flowers and having multiple wild seelies follow her at a time everytime she took her outside, but selvi was still treated like all the kids arlecchino took in and was given food and a roof above her head and a nice bed to sleep in. though most of the time she didnt sleep and instead was content with following arlecchino around almost everywhere around the house of the hearth for the first 2 years arlecchino took her in, and then watching arlecchino sleep (if she does) and try to cuddle with her.

also,, i was imagining some sort of event with a bunch of characters from diff nations, and albedo and klee would be there, and so would selvi. selvi and klee become instant best friends and albedo sort of takes selvi under his wing and makes her his honorary sister too for the duration of the event, not knowing she technically really is his sister, and is one of rhinedottir's newest experiments.

hii!! i have a question. i'm looking into islam to maybe? convert and i was wondering if you had any resources or any advice? i'm queer and disabled so looking for resources has been.. tough.

hi! i think it’s great you’re looking into islam and everything. unfortunately i’m no sheikh and i don’t really have many resources to give, i was born muslim so personally i never had to look for them, but i’ll try my best to help😭(more under cut!)

i know it’s really hard being queer and muslim/ looking into islam in general while being queer with all the stuff out there, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any communities of queer muslims w resources on islam! not sure how helpful looking up resources on islam for queer muslims on google is but i’d say that’s a place to start, and there’s plenty of queer muslims on tiktok too sharing stuff. of course there’s ppl spreading unreliable info but for the most part it‘s okay as a start. i’ve also heard the book “homosexuality in islam” is good and very insightful when it comes to that sort of thing. take that with a grain of salt however since i haven’t been able to get my hands on a copy of the book, this is simply from the reviews i’ve read from other queer muslims and whatnot. i’m not disabled myself so i wouldn’t know if certain resources and stuff are accurately speaking on the matter, so sorry about that.

i’m biased haha but islam is a beautiful religion, don’t let the actions of certain individuals put you off from it or taint it for you, especially as someone who’s queer and disabled, because despite what you might see (of people being hateful) there are a lot of muslims who are very supportive and are queer and disabled themselves. take your time with this, and keep in mind that everyone’s journey with islam is different and personal and that interpretations of the quran and different hadiths do vary, which is why you might come across a lot of arguments on certain aspects such as music and whatnot 🙇 i hope this was in any way helpful, even though i didn’t really have much resources or advice to give, and i hope i didn’t sound like i was repeating myself tooo much hehe. good luck!!
