Neo Cab offers beautiful story-telling, both comical and serious conversations and moral dilemmas, all set in the purple lightning of Los Ojos, a city loosely based on Los Angeles.

Lina is a woman of color, whose emotions are at the heart of the story, especially a toxic f/f relationship that we uncover as we play. We explore the themes of toxicity, codependence, emotional responsibility and can reflect on them with the protagonist. The fact that Lina hides from her emotions by never admitting them as anything more than platonic is one of the factors hindering her in confronting the issues and becoming independent.

Lina’s sexuality is never explicitely stated but is rather influenced through the gameplay and interpretation of the player. You can play Lina as lesbian or bisexual - she can flirt with some of her passengers, both men and women.
