But you know what does this more than war? Hunger.

please help me take my cat to the vet on monday

6/6/2025: toast is 15 and she's had an adenoma on her tail for years, which just started growing very fast & needs to be removed. i don't know exactly how much it will be yet, but the base cost of the appointment is ~$125, plus the surgery and any medications she needs. i'll update as soon as i know the total. happy to share more details by DM.

i really, really appreciate how much people on here have helped me over the years and i'm so grateful you helped me reach my last goal!! i was able to buy toast a new larger carrier with the extra, which i'll use to take her to the vet.

it must be so strange to go through the world with no idea what you're putting in and on your body. i've always had to obsessively read ingredient labels so it's like wtf do you mean you don't know what shampoo you use? it's literally right there?? you can look at it. there's even a toll-free number you can call if you have questions

god i hate fashion. i hate couture i hate runways i hate the violent lathing of human possibility into a single highly policed shape. i hate the practice of crediting the photographer & the designer but never the model, unless someone's obsessed with the personal lives of models & trying to emulate them like saints. i hate the violent categorization of bodies into acceptable/unacceptable & the total dehumanization even of those allowed to be visible. i hate seeing the same silhouette over and over and over in outfits whose price tag could fix every problem in my life. it's no different than more "explicit" pro-ana messaging except for the veneer of aspirational class fantasy & art snobbery.
