My favorite flowers are snowdrops.

But I fear I can never keep snowdrops or be around them. Because one night I dreamt I ate one, and it had the most wonderful crunchy, leafy, planty texture and tasted a mix of floral and green onion.

But snowdrops are poisonous. And if I did eat one, I doubt it would be as wonderful an experience as in my dream.
