“Thanks again for finding it, Ms. Amano! I don’t know what I’d do without it…” It was the only thing her mother left her before she passed away eleven years ago, but that wasn’t something she needed to know.

She giggled, “Si, he can be a little silly sometimes, but he’s the best boss ever!” she grinned cheerfully. “Yeah, I’m a new lawyer here and honestly, it’s pretty exciting! I actually become a lawyer for a childhood friend of mine so I could save him from false charges. I’ll get there someday, no matter what!” She punched a fist into the palm of her other hand. “What made you be a reporter if you don’t mind me asking?”

“It was no problem at all! It may just be a ring, but I’m sure it means a lot to you.” she giggled a tad.

“Ah, really now..? That’s quite a devotion, if I do say so myself. I hope all is well for that friend of yours, too.” Maya began to play with her right earlobe, thinking if only she were able to interview Athena but after hearing the other’s inquiry, it felt like she herself was being interviewed! 

“Ah... Me? Well...” Seeing it was their fist meeting, Maya decided not to let her know about her father who passed long ago, or at least... leave it out. “I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps, and to show people their deepest wishes and their dreams!”

Who knew that a reporter was so interested in the Wright Anything Agency? Well, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. Athena, despite being fairly new at the job, got to hear her boss’s interview. He did great if she were to judge.

As the reporter exited the room, she stumbled upon her missing earring (which she had searching for) and she took it – almost snatched it – from her hands, grateful.

“Yes, it’s mine! Thank you soo much for finding it! I’ve been looking for it everywhere…!” Relieved, she wore it and made sure it stayed on this time. “Oh, you’re the reporter who interviewed my boss, aren’t you? I’m Athena Cykes, the new lawyer here! Nice to meet you, Miss!” she held out her hand to shake.

Maya watched the other before emitting a sigh of relief upon knowing the girl was delighted to be reunited with her moon earring again. Smiling brightly back, she’d give Athena her hand for a quick handshake, “It’s no problem at all! I’m just glad I found it for ya.”

Releasing Athena’s hand after a few Maya chuckled lightly, “My name’s Maya Amano and it is a pleasure to meet you, Athena-chan! And yup, I was the reporter from earlier, and I gotta say your boss was quite the silly one, huh?”

That didn’t bother Maya at all since she got a kick out of her first experience being at the Agency. “He said you work here too, yeah? What’s it like being a lawyer...??”

There was no doubt Maya was a klutz, not to mention it was still the morning almost rolling into the afternoon; so that could also have been the reason why she spilled the hot coffee since she was still a tad tired.

“I-I am so sorry, Von Karma-san! Here, let me get that for you...” Quickly she’d reach into one of her pockets to grab a couple of napkins, but before Maya even got the chance to gently pat Franziska, maybe..... Franziska can do that herself. “A-Actually... Here’s the napkins, if you want them. Again, I am terribly sorry for this!”

Maya walked down the hallway of Wright Anything Agency after getting done with what seemed a fairly long interview for the day; she had no complaints whatsoever, though. “Ahhh.. that’s a wrap, then!”

Smiling widely she made a quick stop just to stretch out her arms until something caught her eye upon the floor, “Hm...?” Reaching down, it seemed someone lost a very pretty moon earring whilst Maya continued to examine it closely being in thought of recalling someone wearing it. “Wait a sec... I think I know who might’ve lost this..”

Quickly turning on her heels, she sped back down the hallway only to eventually come across a girl with beautiful long orange-red hair, “Excuuuuuuuse meeeee! I believe you wore this earring, yes?”
