He had not expected Apollo to agree to it so fast. Why should he? They have been rivals for the longest time in court and with everything that has happened with Kristoph and Phoenix Wright, Klavier would have understood perfectly well if Apollo would have not wanted to see the prosecutor again – outside of court that is.

It had cost him quite some courage to ask the younger man out for lunch (but of course, Klavier has been playing it cool and not shown any weakness) but now, that Apollo had agreed Klavier couldn’t hold back a bright smile.

You pay? Aber Herr Forehead, it was me who asked you out so it should be me who pays, ja?

Shizuka anxiously approached the office of her employer, Phoenix Wright. She had been an intern for only a week so she was still getting used to every thing.

Even so, it wasn’t common for Phoenix to call her to his private office. She then knocked on the door and opened it. “You wanted to see me Mr Wright?”

That’s when she saw the folder of the twilight syndrome case on his desk.

"Oh dear..." Cece murmured, unseeing eyes wide with horror. She said nothing else, stepping closer to Apollo to pull him into a hug, resting her head just under his chin.

"It's okay Apollo, I'm not dead, I'm very much alive..." she reached up with both hands blindly (which in her case was more literal than in any other) to cup Apollo's cheeks, trying to wipe away the tears she could tell he had been crying "It's okay, don't cry..."

He’s not the biggest when it comes to physical affection so...part of him is okay with this.

The other part is very desperate for hugs.

Maya walked down the hallway of Wright Anything Agency after getting done with what seemed a fairly long interview for the day; she had no complaints whatsoever, though. “Ahhh.. that’s a wrap, then!”

Smiling widely she made a quick stop just to stretch out her arms until something caught her eye upon the floor, “Hm...?” Reaching down, it seemed someone lost a very pretty moon earring whilst Maya continued to examine it closely being in thought of recalling someone wearing it. “Wait a sec... I think I know who might’ve lost this..”

Quickly turning on her heels, she sped back down the hallway only to eventually come across a girl with beautiful long orange-red hair, “Excuuuuuuuse meeeee! I believe you wore this earring, yes?”

Girl took deep breath before entering offices. She could with no problem pass on meeting attorneys, since it wasn’t something mandatory, but on the other side it could somehow benefit her. How exactly? She wasn’t sure, but she decided to at least try to build good reputation between people she could work against or with. Or that was good enough excuse to do so, considering most of these attempt fails, at least on showing stronger side of her.

“U-uh... E-excuse me. I-I’m looking for...” Girl looked down almost right after entering on a little notebook she was holding, to not mix up names while saying it and her eyes ended up glued to it, trying to sound as calm as possible.  “ Mr. Apollo Ju...Justice. Is he here today? I-I just wanted t-to talk.”

"Oh..." Bobby hadn't actually meant to get a sympathetic reaction. He had been joking, sharing a (no- alcoholic) drink with Phoenix, and when he had said it--"Why am I said if I feel okay?--his boyfriend's face had gone from warmly smiling to warmly worrying.

He was being held now as his partner murmured words of validation and understanding, and it hurts. If Phoenix takes it seriously, he has to think about it and take it seriously, and if he does that-

If the Champion of Justice, in his tireless pursuit of his calling, feels that tiredness and injustice-

Bobby chuckled weakly and nestled into the hug, resting his head against Phoenix's. "It, uh, heh... Please, don't worry, I'm alright..." How long had he been feeling like this? Day in, day out, that impersonal void, sometimes only at the edge of his consciousness and sometimes so present it fogged up everything else... It can't have been more than a few years, but to his mind, it felt as if it were an ancient, immutable fact. The medications he has been taking since high school that had once brought clarity and strength now barely held his downfall at bay.

They wouldn't hold anything back, he suspected, if he didn't have the drive of his duties to keep him in motion. Inertia would become entropy would become decay.

"A... A while," he mumbled at Phoenix's further prompting, turning his head away.

   “M-Maya...” That was...entirely unexpected...but certainly did it’s job; her expression was quick to fall, a hand to her younger sister’s back.

   “...I’d never ask to trade your life for mine. I’d rather things be this way... You two should have never had to bury me, but I rather that than find Mom again and admit to having buried you.” Oh, how she wishes she could still give her sister a hug like this... “You’re doing amazing things, Maya. I am so, so proud of you. I just hope you know that.”

   A cold, ghost’s kiss is pressed to Maya’s head, even as Mia mourns for the life she left behind so suddenly.
