Have you heard about Cuphead?
Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.   Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil! COMING SEPTEMBER 29th on Steam, XBOX ONE and Windows PC

8 Things We Learned After Playing 'Super Mario Odyssey'
Everyone's favorite mustachioed plumber has ventured far beyond the Mushroom Kingdom to save Princess Peach over the years, traversing lava-covered landscapes, haunted mansions and scorching deserts. But his next full-fledged adventure, dubbed Super Mario Odyssey and due on the Nintendo Switch October 27, will be unlike any yet seen in several ways.
For starters, it's the first open-world Mario series installment since Super Mario Sunshine arrived on the GameCube in 2002. What's more, Mario has a completely new sidekick named Cappy. The iconic red hat Mario usually dons throughout his quests has come to life in Nintendo's latest action-adventure, helping players solve puzzles and take down enemies.

Cappy is helpful for more than clobbering foes
Yes, Cappy's biggest job is helping Mario defeat enemies and gain their powers. Hurling Cappy at Bullet Bill, for example, temporarily transforms Mario into a menacing super-sized flying bullet. But Cappy helps Mario maneuver around stages as well: Holding a button when throwing Cappy suspends him in midair, turning him into a platform Mario can jump on to get a boost — bound to come in handy when getting to hard-to-reach items or platforms.
You can steer Cappy when throwing him
By tilting the Switch's Joy-Con motion controllers when throwing Cappy, you can alter his path, tilting him from his default trajectory to tag additional objects or enemies, say knocking off a few extra Goombas.

Exploration is at the heart of Super Mario Odyssey
The classic goal in a Mario game is to race to the end of a course before the timer runs out. Not so with Odyssey: the worlds you encounter beckons without timetables, waiting to be explored. Players won't get booted from a world after meeting its prime objective, which in Odyssey involves collecting tokens called Power Moons that fuel Mario's airship.
Multiplayer will be a Mario-Cappy team-building exercise
Play Super Mario Odyssey with another person, and one player controls Mario while the other maneuvers his magical cap. This incentivizes players to cooperate strategically: one player navigates through the course, while the other takes the lead in enemy battles. That's a departure from the way multiplayer mode worked in Super Mario 3D World or New Super Mario Bros., where players would work alongside each other to get through levels. (I wasn't able to test this mode personally during my demo, but Nintendo representatives shared those details.)
The worlds are brimming with secrets
Players aren't kicked out of a level after recovering its Power Moons because the moons are a fraction of all the activities — some overt, plenty more cleverly concealed — that Nintendo's baked in. Players are encouraged to talk to the characters they encounter in each world, too, as these denizens will sometimes provide clues that can help solve puzzles or spawn new side quests.
Gold coins work totally different
Collecting 100 gold coins usually gives Mario an extra life, but that's changed in Odyssey. Gold coins now represent your life force, thus each time you're hit by an enemy or fall too far, you'll lose some gold coins. When your stash depletes, it's game over. Not to be confused with gold coins, each world will have its own currency for purchasing in-game items like new outfits. But note that these currencies are unique per world, so you won't be able to spend them elsewhere.
Interacting with everything is essential
Chucking Cappy at anything from obvious targets to mundane objects yields surprises of all sorts. Tag a fire hydrant, for example, and it might dispense gold coins, while hitting an electrical cable will transform Mario into electricity, so that he can travel through the cabling to access otherwise unreachable areas.
Don't miss the bird's-eye map views
Binoculars are dispersed throughout courses and offer holistic glimpses of the terrain, hoisting your view sky-high — very helpful for scouting objectives and strategizing routes.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD FIRST DLC PACK DETAILS ANNOUNCED
Nintendo has unveiled new details about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild — The Master Trials, the game's first DLC pack coming later this year.
Available only as part of the previously announced season pass for $19.99, The Master Trials includes the Trial of the Sword, the game's new Hard Mode, a Hero's Path Mode, a Travel Medallion, Korok Mask, and eight pieces of new equipment inspired by previous Zelda characters and games.
youtube
Trial of the Sword, previously known as the Cave of Trials Challenge, includes about 45 total rooms in which players, as Link, must defeat all enemies from one room to another, first starting out without any armors or weapons. Defeating this challenge will ensure that the Master Sword will "always be in its glowing powered-up state."
The previously announced Hard Mode has also been detailed — ranks of Breath of the Wild enemies are increased in this new mode (so a Red Bokoblin will now be blue) "and players might even encounter higher-ranking enemies they wouldn't find through normal play." Enemies will now also recover health throughout the course of battle, as well as more easily notice Link. Hard Mode also adds a number of planks floating throughout Hyrule. After reaching these large planks, players will have the chance to battle enemies and collect more treasure.
The Hero's Path Mode, meanwhile helps players track their progress. According to Nintendo, the new mode "will document every step players take," marking a green path on the Breath of the Wild Hyrule map tracking back through the player's last 200 hours. Players can also slide through a timeline to track footsteps from specific times. The mode will work retroactively, so any progress a player has made already will also be included, up to that 200-hour limit.
The Travel Medallion will be located in a new chest somewhere in the game. Once collected, the medallion creates a new fast-travel point where Link is standing, which Link can be transported to at any point. Only one Travel Medallion point can be registered at a time.
The Korok Mask will give players a chance to more easily find Koroks — the mask shakes when a Korok is nearby. And lastly, the new equipment will be themed on characters like Midna and Tingle, as well as games like Phantom Hourglass and Majora's Mask.
Information about the second DLC pack, which is set to be released in the holiday season. No exact release date beyond "summer 2017" was provided for The Master Trials pack.
Late last month, Nintendo also revealed that Breath of the Wild sold 2.76 million copies on the Switch, which is approximately 20,000 more copies than actual Nintendo Switch units were sold in the game and console's first month on sale.

Sega Forever lets you play retro Mega Drive games like Sonic on your phone for FREE
Tumblr media
Sega has announced it's going to start making all its old games - including Sonic the Hedgehog - available to play on mobile for free.
All the company's cherished games will be eventually re-launched under the umbrella of the "Sega Forever" catalogue on iOS and Android.
And it's starting off strong with the original Sonic from 1991 and a few other classic Sega titles like Phantasy Star II and Kid Chameleon. Each game will be available to play offline and will run an advert beforehand. If you'd rather pay up and remove the ads, it'll cost £1.99 per game.
Tumblr media
The company has added a few modern features such as cloud saving, leaderboards and the option to play with a Bluetooth controller to each game.
Eventually, Sega says it will be adding games from the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast console eras to compliment the Mega Drive and Master System titles.
“Above all else Sega Forever is a celebration of nostalgia," said Mike Evans, chief marketing officer of Sega’s Mobile Division in the West.
Tumblr media
"It’s about allowing fans to reconnect with past experiences and share them with family and friends in an accessible and convenient way."
Sega says it will add new titles every two weeks and will continue to expand the collection with both official emulations and ported games. It appears the company could be following the example set by one-time rival Nintendo, which has cautiously begun to embrace the mobile gaming ecosystem.
“Join us on a journey of rediscovery as we roll out two decades of classic games free on mobile," Evans said.
"Create your own ‘Sega Forever folder’ and collect your favourite classics. Enjoy moments of nostalgia on the go, or sync a Bluetooth controller to enjoy a console-like experience in your living room.
"SEGA Forever democratizes retro gaming, and seeks to change how the world plays, rediscovers, and shares in classic game experiences.”

Here’s Which Harry Potter Character You Are Based On Your Myers-Briggs Personality Type
ISTJ – You are Harry Potter
Tumblr media
Principled, single-minded and selflessly devoted to the pursuit of justice, Harry was a textbook ISTJ. Though he was not always a fan of the spotlight he’d been forced into, Harry took his role as a warrior against dark magic incredibly seriously. He was prepared to go to any lengths necessary to defend what he believed to be right – demonstrating classic ISTJ conduct.
INFP – You are Luna Lovegood
Tumblr media
Romantic, speculative and perceptive of connections that evaded others, Luna Lovegood was a classic INFP. Though her head-in-the-clouds nature was certainly an exaggeration of the norm for this type, she was anything but shallow or unintelligent. Luna was sharp, fearless and loyal where it mattered – and throughout the Harry Potter series, it mattered a lot.
ENTP – You are Fred and George Weasley
Tumblr media
Clever, opportunistic and mischievous to the core, Fred and George Weasley were clear-cut ENTPs. They saw opportunities absolutely everywhere and considered no idea too fanciful to bring to fruition. Their quick wit and personable natures kept them out of any trouble that they encountered – they were the ultimate Harry Potter bad boys and they pulled it off with the effortless charm that only ENTPs can truly manage.
ESTJ – You are Minerva McGonagall
Tumblr media
Sharp, strict and fiercely protective of her loved ones, Professor McGonagall displayed all the best traits of a well-developed ESTJ. She didn’t mind looking like the bad guy when it came to discipline, so long as it served the greater good of protecting those under her watch. She made every decision based on logic and loyalty – the two main principles that governed her life.
INFJ – You are Albus Dumbledore
Tumblr media
Wise, introspective and eerily adept at understanding the motivations of others, Dumbledore was the epitome of a well-developed INFJ. He was fiercely analytical when it came to determining right from wrong and he was frequently able to see things in a universal scheme rather than simply referring to what was immediately apparent. Dumbledore’s wise, protective nature represented the INFJ archetype in its most developed form.
ESFP – You are Ron Weasley
Tumblr media
Adaptive, present-oriented and sometimes entirely indecisive, Ron offered a sweet portrayal of the loyal ESFP type. Though his bravery wasn’t always center stage, Ron was willing to put his own needs (and fears) aside to battle alongside his loved ones. He’d always rather be doing something than dwelling on something, which makes him the perfect companion and sidekick for the no-nonsense ISTJ Harry.
ISFP – You are Rubeus Hagrid
Tumblr media
Sweet, protective half-giant Hagrid offered an unconventional look at the ISFP personality type. While he was certainly an introverted personality – living alone always suited him best – he became passionately involved with any neglected creature he came across and held the people (and animals) he loved close. Hagrid’s spacey yet devoted attitude was a breath of fresh air in the Harry Potter series – just as ISFPs so often are in real life.
ESFJ – You are Molly Weasley
Tumblr media
Selfless, worrisome and – above all else – endlessly devoted to her family, Molly Weasley portrayed the tried and true ESFJ mother archetype. Every scene we saw Molly in showed her fussing over one of her children or loved ones – she wanted nothing more than to know that the people she cared about were happy, healthy and taken care of. She was an undeniable extroverted feeler.
ISTP – You are Cedric Diggory
Tumblr media
Coordinated, rational and naturally perceptive of systems in his external environment, Cedric Diggory was an excellent example of the ISTP personality. His natural inclination towards cracking codes and surmounting physical obstacles made him a shoe-in for the Triwizard Tournament – until, of course, he died in it.
ENFJ – You are Lily Evans Potter
Tumblr media
Though Lily Potter appeared only in flashback scenes throughout the series, her personality was undeniably reminiscent of the ENFJ type. Outspoken, empathetic and just, Lily was the quintessential ‘mentor’ personality. She exceeded her peers in maturity and stuck up unabashedly for the underdog. Lily was adept at seeing the good in people and was self-sacrificial to a fault – after all, her extroverted feeling was precisely what kept Harry alive.
ESTP – You are Ginny Weasley
Tumblr media
Outgoing, athletic and action-oriented to a fault, Ginny offered an interesting perspective on the ESTP personality portrayed in a female character. Despite being the youngest of a large family of wizards, Ginny didn’t let anyone push her around. She knew what she wanted in life and never hesitated in going after it – she displayed the epitome of the ESTP attitude.
ENTJ – You are Draco Malfoy
Tumblr media
Decisive, analytical and naturally socially dominant, Draco Malfoy offered a fantastic portrayal of the ENTJ personality. In his younger days, Draco drew on his extroverted thinking to follow in the path of his villainous father and establish himself as an alpha personality. In his later years, Draco showed a drastic development in both introverted intuition and introverted feeling, which caused him to re-evaluate the dark direction in which his life was headed. Draco’s character developed drastically throughout the Harry Potter series, offering a glimpse of the ENTJ personality at both its worst and – in flashes – its best.
ENFP – You are Nymphadora Tonks
Tumblr media
Quick-tempered, passionate and fiercely devoted to whatever cause she took on, Nymphadora Tonks offered a spot-on portrayal of the ENFP personality. Though clumsy and unconventional by nature, Tonks got by on her metamorphic abilities – she could quickly change into whatever form she needed to take on to achieve her objective. Her unorthodox transformational abilities were an oddly perfect metaphor for the ever-changing, fiercely determined personality of the ENFP.
INTP – You are Remus Lupin
Tumblr media
Guarded, analytical and tirelessly philosophical, Remus Lupin offered the best portrayal of an INTP that J.K. Rowling was willing to give us throughout the Harry Potter series. Lupin desired a logical solution for everything and despaired when logic failed him – his decision to marry Tonks, for example, was one that he deeply regretted after realizing his child may be born a werewolf. Though he was stood behind the Order of the Phoenix, Lupin wasn’t one to believe whatever he heard – he took all new information with a grain of salt, which is an undeniable INTP trait.
ISFJ – You are Dobby
Tumblr media
Dutiful, nurturing and endlessly devoted to the people whose morals he believed in, Dobby was the undeniable embodiment of an ISFJ personality. Though it’s arguable that all house elves displayed ISFJ-like qualities, Dobby seemed to feel them on an absolute core level. Right to the end of his life, Dobby was focused on serving the people he loved. He was happiest when he was helping the people he loved – a classic ISFJ trait.
INTJ – You are Severus Snape
Tumblr media
One of the most brilliantly developed characters in the series, Severus Snape portrays a fantastic example of the sharp, calculating INTJ. Though cold and distant by nature, Snape displayed his loyalties through a clever deception of the Dark Lord. He was able to manipulate one of the most powerful wizards of all-time – a feat that could only truly be managed by a type as intuitive and stealthy as the INTJ.
