true intent
I like the idea of a moment. Perfect moments. Being consumed in the present as if it stands still. There is no room for worry or wonder about the future and no heartache or memory of the past. You simply recognize the feeling of your own heartbeat, smell the air, taste the flavor of your lips, grasp the dew of the wet ground. You are alive.
I feel comfort in not needing to feel obligated to anything. Deep connection with myself and the earth. With you however... the fastening you feel will only be based on pretenses, ambitious maybe, but false.
You want to talk about that lack of connection I feel for people, how it must lie hidden beneath cold water... I am taken aback, touched even, because I can see the sadness in your eyes. I pause, and stop you there. Please remember those questions aren’t necessary and if another passes your lips you’ll have missed me altogether.
If it frightens you that my next chapter, walk around the block, cup of coffee won't include you, that I will never stay in one place, or commit to you then lets stop before we begin. You don’t think you are trying to change me, you propose the idea as help, but I never asked for it babe and nonetheless you are hoping for an outcome will a different ending, inasmuch you will be disappointment.
So let me give it to you straight, I will leave. Its nothing against you, I only just know you and I'm certain that I will enjoy you more overtime or we wouldn’t be having this conversation. It has nothing to do with you in fact. Its just the truth.
I want to be transparent about this my love, and then nothing ever again.
