Thanks for the beautiful YR gifs! May I ask what your favorite moments from the show are? βΊοΈ
Thank You!
You guys really make my day!
I find the most endearing moments to be when Wilhelm and Simon get the chance to embrace their normalcy.
It's in those instances where they can truly relish each other's presence without the weight of Wilhelm's royal status or the opinions and worries of their peers (especially Alex) looming over them.
For instance, I vividly recall the scene where Wilhelm rested his head on Simon's shoulder, while Simon tenderly ran his fingers through Wilhelm's hair β it was a display of pure, unguarded affection. I don't remember the episode but I just can't forget this scene.
Another moment that struck me was when Wilhelm went out of his way to get Simon a hot dog during a match. The genuine smile that graced Wilhelm's face during those times always made me truly appreciate their connection.
Although the royal family arc is undeniably captivating, these instances where they momentarily shed the expectations placed upon them provide a refreshing and heartwarming perspective.
I apologize if my answer lacks specifics, but the simplicity and authenticity of these moments speak volumes.

"You've never felt quite at home"
You play your music too loud,
You don't look at people in crowds,
You can't seem to make a connection.
You know this isn't where you belong.
You know you shouldn't be here,
It feels wrong & unfair to be trapped like this.
You need to get out and you don't know why.
One day, you will find a way.

Patroclus. Believe me when I say that I understand what it is to-
[PATROCLUS]
You don't.
How could you know what it is to gaze at him sleeping, falling into the spaces between the breaths, wondering if this is how he'll look in death?
How could you know what it is to hold him through his grief, to feel his hot tears on your face and to be glad, desperately glad, because it reminds you that he is alive?
