At first I was gonna say it looks funny that he acts like a petulant child, but then it hit me that he's a grown ass man whose inner child is still hurt and he hasn't yet learnt to soothe that pain as an adult and it nearly made me cry

It's either me being way too dramatic or Tob's excellent acting skills (which is obvious) hitting a bit too close to home, but Frater seems to sound so angry, hurt and fragile I just really wanna give him a hug. I mean he's been dealing with so much shit of every possible kind as it is already and now he's being compared (and even kinda put down) to some dude he's never met before who's apparently his brother. I mean of course he's gonna respond like that, pretty reasonable

I always feel like Cenotaph is such a positive, life-affirming and empowering song that sheds such a unique light on loss and enduring love and affection but then he sings in the heat of the moment / right there where it feels like I’m actually living / you are with me while you think about someone you lost and behind the corner of the nearest building Tobias just waits to shoot an arrow into your heart with an absolutely lethal velocity that makes your eyes explode with tears
