I also want to pay attention to the ace lesbians who are the reason I made this page and for us to pay attention to ourselves. All us ace lesbians who fit the desexualised "harmful" stereotypes of lesbianism. Ace lesbians who are also bambi lesbians. Ace lesbians who don't go by bambi lesbian. Ace lesbian fems who are "overrepresented" soft uwu sapphics. Ace lesbian butches, studs, stems and mascs who are nonchalant and not sexually forward "enough". Ace lesbians who never give. Ace lesbians who never receive. Ace lesbians who don't have enough lesbian sex to be "real" dykes. Ace lesbians who are branded predatory and perverted without taking part in lesbian sex or sexual attraction. All us ace lesbians who are forgotten by the ace community. Ace lesbians who don't want to "compromise" our bodies to non-ace partners. Ace lesbians with "made up" "fake" romantic attraction. Ace lesbians who never get shouted out in pro-ace posts like cishet aces do every year. Ace lesbians who want "fake" lesbian romances that are "actually just friendships in denial". Ace lesbians who hide their lesbian attraction to make other aces comfortable.

This Pride Month, I want us to care about ourselves. Whether it's speaking more openly on our experiences, going to events again or for the first time, spending time with partners or being brave and putting ourselves out there, find the space for yourself. Its out there and its within you. Love you acebians. Mwah!

Happy June! Usually I prefer to be less 'loud' with LGBTQIA+ things, but occasionally its nice to feel seen.

This litte fella is found in south-western US and western Mexico. Males use their purple gorgets in courtship, where they also produce a whistle using their tail feathers! (The irony of describing a courtship display with ace pride is not lost on me)

Have amazing sex, be proud in your sexual aversion! Pride is not just a time of advocacy but self discovery, acceptance and joy. Be proud and love your culture down, know you’re not alone. Black aromanticism is so necessary, and all you need to do is be you.
