FLEEKY NAIL TRENDS

We all know that nails art is just another form of expression! But lately I’ve been seeing some very impressive nails! Some girls like to keep their nails very clean and minimalistic, while other girls will tear a dollar bill just to get a piece for nail art! Usually around this time I’m expecting to see fall colors. NOT! C’mon babes, its 2017! 

Women have decided to step out of the nail expectations! So should you! Here’s a couple of trends we need to be looking out for!

BRAND NAILS. Why not rep your favorite brand, on your nails? This is for bad b*tches ONLY! This is the definition of sauce it up, do too much! PRO TIP: The rings will have you fleeeeked! They add even more pizazz, your now untouchable. Our New York gals been rocking these for a while now!

NUDE NAILS. Nude nails will never go out of style! Nudes are the perfect solution for a girl thats always on the go. They are very simplistic and very chic, If you can find your perfect nude you are set for life! Take my word for it! 

CLEAR ACRYLIC! I see this trend everywhere! It leaves so much open opportunity to be creative with your nails! WARNING: Beware, with this trend make sure your real nails are decent because their going be totally exposed!

BEJEWELED NAILS. These are the nails of a boss, the one, and only Cardi B! Cardi B is known for having rhinestone encrusted nails! If you look hard enough you can see her bae Offset! These nails have a lot going on, but they definitely separate the boss and the worker!

LONG NAILS. Ladies remember, they're serious levels to this! This trend is for the nail rebel! Longer nails are for women who don’t take no for and answer! Most of the nails featured in this article are on the longer side, but you can still pull off these looks if you find a good technician. This is actually a two in one look because she's showcasing her “diamond nails” Three of her nails are totally covered in rhinestones, bling bling b*tches!

Question: Do girls with longer nails do it better? 

MULIT COLOR. When I get my nails done I usually can't decide which color to pick! Its always in between two or three colors. Why not get all three? This trend is too cute! Its a great pop of color, this isn’t just your normal paint job. Get ready for everyone to stop you on the street and ask questions!

COLORED FRENCH. The colored french tip! This is for when you want to subtly spice your nails up! The color is already going to draw attention, but the fact that its just the tips really make this a cool look! If you choose a bright color like the model shown, its a for sure win! 

CLEAR COAT.  Ladies, ladies, ladies, you guys really just don't know! This right here? Try it! This is my best friends complete favorite! Its a very clean and simple look! Its timeless and sleek. It goes with any and everything and it makes you feel sophisticated! The girls go crazy for classic! Will this soon be the new nude? hmm...

RED NAILS. Last but NOT least the red set! You didn't think I was going to end this post WITHOUT the classic red nail, did you? This are probably the most, iconic nail color you can have! Its super bold, and super sexy! The have all different toned of red! Try some out to find you r perfect tone! I know women who get red nails ONLY, they're all married or have a man. Put two and two together ladies! ;)

5 WAYS TO KEEP YOUR WEEDMEN AT BAY

This post is for the all beauties out there that enjoy a good smoke every now and then but don't enjoy the harassment of their dealers! Babes, I couldn’t tell you how many times my male dealers tried to flirt with me! Boyyyyy! If this is constantly happening to you and you need it to stop, review these five steps below:

1. Ladies stop trying to flirt with your weed man for deals then shut him completely down when he starts flirting with you and liking you. Your cute, they're going to flirt with you, especially if you flirt first! 

2. Dont ever match or smoke with him, thats too friendly, and intimate. Get your goods and go, small talk only. Let him know its strictly business!

3. If you can, save up your money and buy in bulk! That way you see them less often! Depending on how much you smoke, if you keep buying small quantities  you’ll end up having more visits. See him almost never lmao!

4. Along with the steps above, you can always use the ol’ faithful, “I have a boyfriend!” If he's a decent guy, he won't try again, if he's a “you can't have friends” type, then be very stern, no smiles, nothing. I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!

DEALING WITH DADDY WARBUCKS

Growing up I always felt very important and protected, and loved. But the older I’m getting I’m scared that maybe it went to my ego, and not my heart. Growing up I would drown my insecurities and past with material objects, nice dinners, honestly just flexing. But I could at that time, and it felt nice. I didn't have a care in the world, and anytime something unfavorable happened I had a new shirt not to long after, or a nice lunch, maybe a big bag of weed. 

My dad always gave me talks of how I'm a princess and an air to the throne. I believed him, deep in my bones. He was everything to me. When I would cry he would ask me why? It always hurt a little when he’d ask, and I thought maybe he was trying to make me tough. But now that I’m older, I’m thinking he passed down a systematic way of covering your feelings, not living in your emotions. YOUR TRUTH. But that was just his way of protecting me and making me feel good and confident!

The older I’m getting its really sticking out to me, that I’m too strong. I don't let myself feel. But is that really strong? I’m figuring out its just the opposite. The strength is in allowing yourself to feel your emotions. Its easy to act like they don't exist. I always had a big suit of emotional armor and ego to defend me whenever the emotion wasn't happiness. In turn, I was just suppressing these feelings, erasing past discomforts, patching up my wounds with materials objects, as if they were band aids. 

When asked what were things that I liked about myself, I found that I couldn't stir away from my material objects. I was becoming my objects. I didn't even realize the things that my soul has to offer. The wonderful qualities that made me, me were non recognizable. Don't get me wrong Ive always loved myself so much, but I had to question why? I wanted to be confident and sure of answers. Its a process.. Getting to know yourself is a process in its own. 

 I love my father to death and he taught me everything he knows, and for that i can only love him! I’ll always be his princess! But I have to take the crown off and find my true self.

The queens voice is so soft and beautiful on this track. Its so light and calming. This is best on day you can sleep in a little, and its also a little gloomy. You’ll be so content and feeling very still in the mind. No worries!

MONEY IS MY CRUTCH

When your day is going terribly and you can't splurge on that latte you want, what will you do? You can't buy reassurance. Your safety net of what you once knew and abused, is gone. By safety net I mean your MONEY! Without money your practically naked. Bare. Exposed. Cant cover up anything about yourself. It's crazy, growing up getting what I wanted wasn't an issue. 

This became a crutch for me. Anytime I felt bad about something I’d go buy something. Anything, food, clothes, accessories, journals, you name it. The latest skin clearing and antioxidant teas, anything that supposedly makes you beautiful. I was an addicted!

You name it. In the moment of buying, it’s one of the best feelings ever. It's like covering up an ugly wound with something beautiful and new and shiny and exciting. Replacing an ugly truth, with a bedazzling new patch of reinvention. 

Not being able to spend when something wasn't right or comfortable, really forced me to get into myself, I actually had to deal with myself and everything that comes with that. I went back to a time when I was younger and what made me happy. At a time when I was totally free! These things include :

1. Journaling/Sketch booking/Scrap booking. I know people may have told you to do this and it probably seemed a little corny or something you seemed all excited about in the moment then walk away and forget about it, but ultimately its a pure reflection of you, and what better way to check on yourself, and express yourself.

2. Practice beating you face! What better way to pass time then to make yourself look GORGEOUS! You'll feel good and satisfied with yourself you won't even remember how you felt!

3. Listen to your favorite bangers! Listen to music thats up beat and makes you crunk, or sexy! The complete opposite of what your feeling! Especially if you don't deserve to be feeling that way, like its not karma or anything! 

4. Workout! Girl take all those feelings out in the gym! With every stride, bend, lift, pull, you need to be bending, lifting, and punching those feelings, you'll feel so much better, and stronger then the situation at hand! 

5. Meet up with you friends! If you didn't vent to your journal, vent to your friends! Venting to them instead of your wallet will feel so much better at the end of the week! 

Ive been so much cuter and happier using these in place of splurging! They’ve been all the rage, at least for now! Let me know what you guys favorite copping mechanism is when you have the impulse to buy something but know you can't? Again remember, its a process, I’m still dealing with being a shopaholic.
