• Braised Pork 🐷 in Soy Sauce/Tau Yew Bak • Braised Pork Belly in Soy Sauce/Tau Yew Bak #lifeasmesyeocooksrecipe 👇🏻 Ingredients: 450g pork belly** (cut into desired size) 2 bulb garlic 3 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tbsp hua diao wine 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce 8 small cubes rock sugar 1 star anise 1 cinnamon stick 5 cloves Dashes pepper Spring onion (optional) Water **try to get pork belly that has more fats —————————————————— Method: 1. Line bottom of a pot with spring onion (if using). Place all ingredients on spring onion, add water just enough to cover all the ingredients. 2. Bring to boil and lower down heat to lowest and braise for 45 mins to one hour. 3. Serve hot • You may also add hard boiled eggs and rehydrated Chinese mushroom into the pot. 11.9.2018 : Tuesday : Lunch : Homecook • Minced Meat 🐷 Noodle Soup 🍜 • Basic Noodles Soup Base #lifeasmrsyeocooksrecipe 👇🏻 Ingredients: 250g minced pork 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp preserved vegetable/dong cai A handful of dried shrimp 2l water Fish sauce and/or salt to taste —————————————————— Method: 1. Bring water in a pot to boil. Add dried shrimp and preserved vegetable. Boil for 5 mins. 2. Add minced meat in pot in batches. Break minced pork to loosen up. Simmer soup for 10 mins. 3. Season with fish sauce and/or salt to taste. • Cook noodles, whatever extra ingredients you want in soup to cook, ladle soup on noodles.
