Obsession: All things CAMO

I've had a thing for all things CAMO dating back to 2000. I used to rock these raggedy camo cut offs with everything from sneakers to Manolos! I must have thought I was done with Camos because I did the unholy thing - and donated them to Salvation Army... and years later, my love for Camo has haunted me like an old flame who never really left your heart...

The end of an Era

This weekend my best guy friend and I took a road trip to SF to commemorate  "D" day (we'll get back to that later) and the end of a wonderful era. We celebrated with bacchic revelry and pure silliness really.. And at the end of it all, we realized how good we had it..I am truly happy to have him in my life and for all that he's done for me..And I wish him all the best in his new journey. Friends, true friends, how many really have them.  Enough with the emotions!

Rainy Days and Mondays...

Rainy Days and Mondays doesn't necessarily get me down. But if I had my choice, I'd rather be cozy with a cup of hot apple toddy in my bed catching episodes of Breaking Bad. Yes, Breaking Bad!!! I am officially hooked. From the heroine streets of Baltimore (The Wire) to the meth labs in Albaquerque..the universe might be telling me something..of which, I've yet to figure out. But for the moment, I'm glad to have found something else to enjoy besides my bootlegged sports.

The Wire...the end as I know it..

My heart is about to break...OK OK, I'm being mellow dramatic, but seriously I fell in love with this show. And I personally believe that hands down, The Wire is best show ever created. I have just one last episode left and I'm salivating from the thoughts of watching it while cringing at the notion that once done there will be no more McNulty, Bunk, Omar Little, Bubs..

The Quest: the perfect red

Some years back, OK truth be told, 10 years back I was on a hunt for the perfect Red Lipstick. I would call or email my friend and give her my daily report on the various reds that I tried: blue based, orange red, true reds..I know I know, its kinda a waste of time but I was really set on find the one. And as I amass numerous brands and all the reds in the color spectrum, I realize that we are always on a quest for something else and like everything in my life, that the reds I wear depends on my mood.
