Tossing the girl an apple as she got closer, Tybalt subtly scanned the area to make sure nobody was listening in and spoke in a low voice. He knew his low voice could sound threatening and like a growl, but that was just because he was a charr. He wasn't planning to scare the girl off.

"Say, I haven't seen attire like that anywhere in the world. Not even the armorsmiths know how to craft something like that. And I haven't heard anything about who you are either. Are you from Tyria?"

"I've returned from my break, but even by Order Of Whispers' standards, things are far too quiet. Is anyone around here gonna make stuff interesting? Or have an apple cider with me, perhaps?"

OutOfCTI: Hiatus...

I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I’ve been wanting to avoid it, but I’m going on hiatus again.

My mood these days has hit south. I’ve noticed I’ve been losing my inspiration and my touch for many things that’d otherwise come natural to me, and I’m getting more and more upset at the littlest things that wouldn’t normally even bother me. I’ve lost my touch for each and every one of my muses - Faith was already on hiatus for that reason, but Tybalt, Rubi, Caius….I’ve even lost my muse for Aya, and I never thought that I’d be saying that, considering how much me and Aya have in common!

So I’m gonna take a break from things officially, so everyone knows where I am and why I’m silent. I’ll still lurk in case anything important happens, and I’ll probably come on again come New Year’s Eve with one of my infamous hours-long conversations (I do it every New Year. Without fail.)

So…yeah. Have a good one guys. I haven’t got a clue how long my hiatus will last but I’m gonna give myself a month. I should be back within a month at the latest.

The Eternity Dreamers (OutOfApples)

The Eternity Dreamers are a new and exciting family for RPers of any character from Square Enix, Capcom or NCSoft games. Whether you are new and inexperienced to roleplaying or you have been roleplaying for years, we have a spot for YOU right here in the family!

"They're so quiet, you could almost say they were whispering!"

And Tybalt would've carried on his 'apple selling' if he hadn't been interrupted only seconds later. 

He didn't recognise the Sylvari at first - but that was before he started talking. His voice was easily recognisable, especially to someone like Tybalt who had worked with him many, many times in the past.

"There was no time to say goodbye. You would've died too otherwise. But I understand how you feel. But now I'm back, perhaps you could say hello to me instead of goodbye, Grey."

He didn't even wait for the sylvari to respond before hugging him. It was good to have his best friend back, and a tear escaped from one of the charr's eyes - it was one of the first tears he'd shed in a long while, but it was one of happiness.

The Streets of Lion's Arch

His was one of the most recognized names in Tyria, and yet he drifted through the streets of Lion’s Arch without even earning a second glance from most passersby. Tybalt would have been proud.

The errant thought made Grey smile with dry humor and still a hint of bittersweet memory, and he glanced down at the apple in his hand. He’d picked it up almost without thinking about it, dropping a few coins in the vendor’s palm while his attention was a thousand miles away, and now he wandered mostly aimlessly, tossing the fruit from hand to hand and reminiscing like some old soldier with a lifetime behind him. That’s where he was the first time he… And over there was that place where… And then there was that time that he and a friend of his…

Grey was still laughing to himself about that one when, mostly on a whim, he turned a perfectly random, unobtrusive corner, unconsciously looking for a particular apple cart. Apples! Apples for sale! Come get your…

“…nice, quite apples!”

…Surely he’d just imagined that. I mean, there was no way, right? There was just no—

The young Sylvari stopped. Looked. Blinked. Looked again. It was utterly impossible and pure madness, but still, it was that face and those eyes and that voice and Grey was throwing himself at the much larger Charr before he was even aware of his body moving because it was Tybalt and Tybalt was here and he needed to hug the stupid, brave, wonderful engineer right now.

“I know I’ve probably just gone mad and you’re some total stranger about to punch me in the face, but I’m going to hug you for a while, all right, because you look like my best friend and I never even got to say goodbye to him so I could really use a hug from him right now.” Grey was babbling and he knew it, but that didn’t stop him.

"Demmi always seemed like the type for sharpshooting, but let's keep her away from her father. Wouldn't want Caudecus to have an 'unfortunate accident' before his time would we?"

Tybalt scanned the area. Bloodtide Coast, he was sure of it.

"Isn't the Chantry Of Secrets not too far from here? Nothing's happened to it whilst I've been gone, right?"

Tybalt sounded uneasy. Why go for homing pigeons when they were so close to home base? He was almost certain something had happened. 

“This is not a cruel joke. I have another chance. I’m actually here. And hey, at least I saved you and the others, right?”

‘Everyone mourned? Even the hardened Riel Darkwater?’

“Did Riel mourn for me too? I could never see her being the type! Ha! I’m not gonna let her live that one down!”

My dear friend Ava is so close to not being homeless and/or dead, but she really needs a little more help. 

Her landlord raised her rent, and with winter setting in her utilities have raised as well.

They really cannot afford to be homeless. 

Her mother has lung cancer and cannot survive the cold temperatures, and Ava’s foregoing food so that her mother and cat can eat. 

So please, please, give whatever you can. Even if it’s just a couple dollars, it will help. 

And if you can’t help, please signal boost this.

"Darkwater is not gonna live that one down when she realizes I'm back!"

The remark about Preceptor Halvora Snapdagger would've made Tybalt smile were it any other situation. However, this time, no smile could escape his mouth. Snapdagger was always the one who treated him most harshly, and yet at the same time, she was always the one encouraging him most to have some courage and be brave. 

"Preceptor Snapdagger...I wonder what she thinks of me now, now I've finally started to stand up and have courage..."

And so Tybalt remained silent for a minute more, making a mental note at the same time to see Preceptor Snapdagger as soon as was possible. But the mentioning of Demmi had jolted his brain into the present day again.

"Yes, we should go see Demmi. Unless word has spread around already - and this is the Order Of You-Know-What we're talking about here - she won't know. You're the first member of the Order I've seen since I came back."
