“Lockdowns aren't just unnecessary, they are criminally irresponsible." he says. "When we measure the cost in terms of life-years lost to stress, suicide and untreated illnesses the lockdowns have cost far more life-years than COVID."

Dove's Kickstarter campaign aims to give those who are frustrated by the lockdowns a visible outlet to voice their opinion.

It’s time for the silent majority to be heard!

The lockdowns have impacted us all, while being almost completely ineffective at protecting the vulnerable sick and elderly from the disease. Here are just a few relevant facts:

1.       It has been calculated that the virus has cost 800,000 life-years*. This sounds bad, but educated researchers have calculated that, when we take into account deaths from stress, suicide and untreated medical conditions the lockdowns have cost 700,000 life-years per month! This means that after six months of lockdown, the cost in human lives from the lockdowns will be 5X what the virus has cost. Many of these deaths are young people who would have had many years of life left to them.

*life-year: a year of life lost due to any cause. 550,000 coronavirus deaths only translates to 800,000 life-years due to the fact that most of the victims are extremely elderly and would have died in the next 18 months anyway.

2.       Almost everyone who has died from COVID-19 was elderly or sick. These groups account for 99% of victims. Not a single healthy individual under the age of 65 has died, anywhere!

3.       U.S. death figures are grossly inflated. In the second week of the lockdown the CDC issued a directive to doctors and hospitals that any patient who died of pneumonia in their hospital, and where the cause of the pneumonia could not be absolutely proven to be something other than coronavirus, then coronavirus was to be listed as the cause of death.

4.       The test for coronavirus is no more accurate than a coin toss. The CDC states that the effectiveness of the test is unknown, but that ‘it is similar to the test for the flu, which is 50 – 70% accurate’. This means that the test is no better than a guess. The result is that many ‘coronavirus’ deaths were actually either influenza A (H1N1) or influenza B, which have almost exactly the same symptoms.

5.       If a patient in the U.S. has Medicare, the hospital automatically receives $13,000 when they are diagnosed with coronavirus. This rises to $39,000 if the patient is put on a ventilator. Do you think maybe the hospitals have extra incentive to mis-report? Points 4 and 5 are further demonstrated by the fact that the U.S. claims (at time of this writing in early July) 135,000 COVID deaths. This is almost 25% of all COVID deaths worldwide, yet the U.S. population is less than 5% of the global population. Are we to believe that U.S. citizens have especially weak immune systems?

6.       Every year 500,000 people die from the flu. Even if we accept the global numbers of deaths from coronavirus (which points 4 and 5 above show are almost certainly inflated), it is no more than a virulent flu.

7.       The suicide rate increases by 1% for every 1% increase in unemployment. The U.S. unemployment rate was 3.8% in February of this year. By April it had risen to over 15% as 40 million Americans found themselves out of work. Educated estimates project an additional 75,000 Americans will die this year from suicide and accidental overdose. And that’s just in the U.S. Globally, deaths from suicide and despair could easily exceed deaths from COVID.

8.       And we haven’t even started to talk about the economic impact…

 Be heard. We must never let this happen again.
