Things Needed for a high risk merchant account.
Things Needed for a high risk merchant account.
Well if that was a simple question, we would all be high risk credit card/merchant service companies. We try to make it very simple in life and make it to the point that it is very simple and painless. First and foremost the starting point is very simple
-Business Name
-Tax Id
-Principal or owner information
-type of business
We might need more information if we can't get it approved with that simple information. Easiest way for the banks to approve the accounts for high risk is making sure it is easy to understand. Think like a parent is the best way I have always said, if you think your kid is hiding something then we keep looking. Easier to tell us exactly what you are selling and or doing so that we can board your account the right way. Believe me we approve everything that is legal. So as long as you tell us what you are selling we can make it work for everyone. When we say you are joining a family you are joining a family with Lighthouse Payments.
The main easiest way to join the family is just to apply! We have a very simple process. You can join direct at highriskisok.com or email [email protected]
Believe me you wont regret it!

Why is your deposit held up?
At Lighthouse Payments we make sure you receive your funding in a timely manner.. In nearly every case (95%+) we will have your funds deposited within 1 business day. However, there are cases were this is not possible. Let’s explain some of the most common reasons you may not have received your funds within 1 business day.
What time did you batch out (Eastern Time)?
This is by far the most common reason for not receiving funds within 1 business day. If you batch out by 9pm Eastern Time we almost always will have your funds deposited by the next day. However, if you are located in California and batch out at 9pm Pacific, it is already midnight here on the East Coast and we cannot process your funds until the following day. Be sure to batch out by 9pm Eastern Time for the quickest turnaround time.
Were there any highly unusual, or suspicious transactions?
There are several reasons for transactions to be flagged as suspicious and this may cause a delay while the transaction is reviewed. It could be as simple as your average ticket being $50 and there is a one-off transaction for $1,200. This single charge being several times your median transaction could be flagged as suspicious. If you think there are charged that may get flagged as suspicious, feel free to contact us and let us know.
Have you recently been having chargeback trouble?
We specialize in high-risk, we understand/expect there will be a few chargebacks on your account. However, if chargebacks become a regular occurrence and start to become more frequent it is likely to cause a hold on funding. In this case, next day funding can become very difficult to fulfill and you should expect to see delays in funding. If you see chargebacks becoming more common on your account, it is best to notify us so we can work together to find the root cause of the chargebacks on your account.
Have we been trying to reach you about an issue on your account?
There may be an issue with your account that needs to be resolved before we can deposit funds. Lighthouse Payments is a bank and we absolutely must check all the boxes, dot our I’s, and cross all the T’s before we can deposit funds. Even something simple like an address change, or missing digit on your TaxID number this must be corrected before we can deposit funds into your account. If you see us calling, please pickup because it could be related to getting funds into your account.
Did you remember to batch out?
Yeah, it sounds ridiculous, but it happens…. a lot actually. Check your account and be sure you, or your staff remembered to batch out at the end of the day. Obviously, this must happen before we can deposit the funds into your account.
