Mohammed needs to buy diapers for his children, but just one pack costs $100. His daughter Saba is already very ill with meningitis and a fever, and these unsanitary conditions are dangerous for her. The entire family of 5 also needs food for today (June 24), but this will also cost upwards of $100.
You can help this family survive by donating via:

Hey guys, please show some support for @save-mohamed-family!
His entire family - parents and brothers - are martyred, and he is trying to protect the only family he has left, his wife and children.
His wife is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and needs help paying for her treatment. From what I understand she is on one of the last doses of the chemotherapy and they need help paying for this shot.
We should be doing our best to support situations of medical emergency to maximize best use of our impact.

Black people in the U.S. are seven times more likely to be falsely convicted of a serious crime like murder than white people, according to a new report published Tuesday by the National Registry of Exonerations. The finding is based on an analysis of exonerations for serious crimes in the U.S. over the last four decades, which found that Black people make up less than 14% of the U.S. population but account for 53% of exonerations in the country.

what happens is:
-fatphobic limits on weight for trans surgeries are implemented due to fatphobic doctors and a medical establishment that refuses to train physicians to work with fat bodies
-hospitals and clinics and those that work there reproduce these limits as factual and create the conditions for disordered eating and related self-harm among trans people, and uphold systems of antifatness, cisheteropatriarchy, white supremacy, and abled-normativity that render the only 'correctly' binarily sexgendered people as thin
-trans people with disordered eating practices are doubly pathologized and marked as contagion vectors, hysterical, deviant, and delusional, in need only of "recovery" via force-feeding to be cured both of disordered eating and transness
-trans people are thus pushed further from access to life-saving medical care and, in the best cases, instead funneled into an ed industrial complex that routinely abuses even its most privileged subjects, nevermind those already abjected
-trans people either remain in diagnosis-induced epistemic limbo, die of their eds, die by suicide, and/or remain "too fat" to access surgery, knowing that the next time they go back seeking xyz transmedical intervention, they will get the same recommendation to "diet" –– which, make no mistake, is in effect a recommendation to die.

#recatching teenage faves rn I guess so anyway. the thing about lok season 1 is that it's not good BUT I was so right about everything#korra's one of my very favorites forever she's so so special. she's allowed so much that - adult tv! - women simply cannot be -#(like I'm noticing more now how she's actually got defined muscles! she's brash and somewhat arrogant and doesn't know#much about the outside world which can make her much more self centered than she's aware of. she's funny and impulsive#and occasionally very scared and she loves compliments and she loves winning. she's great!)#but anywayy aang at the end of his series learning to take away bending. korra at the end of her first arc learning to give it back#extremely cool!#now imaginee if theyd had any awareness at all how ridiculous 'benders are the oppressors now' is as this taken-as-fact-storyline#that amon's just taking to extremes. like imagine if they'd had the same setting but built off the war - obviously there's#a real physical discrepancy between a bender and a non-bender barring any other factors -#but imagine if theyd acknowledged that and then had amon build off the same basis that was also present in the war#where non-firebender benders were forbidden & incarcerated & in many cases nearly wiped out completely#likeeee how did they manage to do a whole season about a villain who wants 'equality' and NOT mention how most benders were#oppressed & prosecuted like two generations ago (so very much still alive people!!) can we be serious.#many people I'm sure have said this eloquently I just had to blurt it out again because it's such a glaring oversight lmao#lok.txt#ok additions. amon just said smth like 'cleansed of their impurity' please... he just wants equality... 🥺#ALSO. the nepotism council ruling RC is so like... hashtag the oppressed become the oppressor or whatever.#reeks of colonialist fears tbh#that in addition to the fire lord's son leading the united military forces svivfvkbdvibfvj always gets me#it's not even been a hundred years... and RC built on earth kingdom territory... okay I have to stop. god.

Hey guys, I wanted to tell you about the Ihyaa' initiative. My friend Mohammed Ayesh, who's been our vetter on the ground in Ghazzah for the last year or so, wants to make a space and provide resources for University students to complete their studies in a proper learning environment, along with providing food parcels, stationary, and other essentials. You may have heard of the Isnad initiative! It's very similar to the Ihyaa' initiative but it's located elsewhere. They had to find the right room to use as a classroom for the Ihyaa' initiative and they're going to be paying rent of 2000$ for it. Mohammed Ayesh has informed me that starting on Monday this rent will begin.
University students are the foundation of a better and rebuilt Ghazzah! If you want to help Ghazzah rebuild, this is one of the first steps you can start assisting with.

anyway you should always remember that all those foreigners you see dying on the news are just as real people as you are who have just as much interiority as you do. there is nothing about you that makes you more important and it is by pure chance that you are not in their position. in fact, this holds for all of history. every person, no matter the horror of the fate that befell them, had just as much interiority as you do. i feel like some people haven't fully internalized this.

If you've ever appreciated my posts about LGBTQ issues, this Pride month, as a favor to me, please do something to help my friend Fadel ( @fadel-dani ).
Fadel is multiply disabled.
A very serious accident left his leg paralyzed for a long time, and now he walks with great difficulty. He also has thalassemia, a blood disorder, which leaves him incredibly fatigued. The medication he needs costs €400 every month. He needs to buy medication as soon as possible, because he has not been able to afford it so far this month. He suffers from dizziness and nausea all the time because he has not been able to buy his medication yet.
Fadel needs urgent surgery
Over 550 days ago, Fadel's family home was bombed and he was left with iron shrapnel embedded in his body. The medical infrastructure in Gaza has been decimated and he URGENTLY needs to get to a better-resourced hospital to get this shrapnel surgically removed safely.
Fadel's family is starving
Israel has created and maintained famine in Gaza as a genocidal tactic. Not only do they prevent food aid from entering, but they target crowds of Palestinians waiting for the distribution of aid.
Fadel and his brothers recently traveled together to an aid site, hungry and desperate for food, only to be met with Israeli snipers.
He recounted, "I saw many martyrs die in front of my eyes. Unfortunately we fled and were not able to take any food or anything. Now we have nothing to eat. A bag of flour costs 800 euros, a kilo of sugar costs 100 euros, a kilo of tomatoes costs 50 euros, and a liter of milk costs 80 euros. What's worse is that my medication is about to run out. I don't know what to do. Should I spend my surgery money to buy medicine and food to eat, or what?"
He told me today that for the last two days his family has been rationing their remaining supplies so that they have only been able to eat once a day. They are always hungry.
Fadel's campaign is vetted
His campaign has been vetted by @gazavetters (#197) and 90-ghost.
Earlier this year he raised nearly 50% of his goal, but on April 25th, 2025, GoFundMe cruelly deleted his fundraiser with no warning or explanation (something this company has done to many Palestinians trying to survive genocide) and he was forced to start over with a new campaign.
Despite GoFundMe's deletion of his first campaign automatically returning all donations to the donors, most people who previously donated have not taken the time to send that money back to him.
Today as I write this (June 22, 2025), he has has raised 39% of his goal, still over €3,000 below the amount he had raised back in April.
He has escaped death so many times, and he needs our help to survive long enough to get to a hospital who can treat his injuries.
What you can do:
Donate any amount you can to his campaign
Make a post about Fadel to share his story and encourage others to donate
Share this post with your followers
Send him a kind message at @fadel-dani and offer your friendship
