observation: among a certain subset of tumblr users, the term “blorbo” has become unchic, but the concept it describes is still important; and so it has been replaced with “The Character”

The sentences "Asexuals can still have sex" and "Aromantics can still date" need to go up on the high shelf for everyone except aces and aros talking about their own experiences. From now on, everyone else has to use the revolutionary new phrase "Asexuals and aromantics can do whatever the fuck they want forever."

When I was fourteen, we got homework from English class to pick a song which represented a scene or relationship in Macbeth and then do at least a five minute presentation to the class on it.
There was no maximum time limit.
I am autistic. My special interest in Shakespeare.
Some of the more perceptive of you might guess where this is going.
I made a three minute fanvid using (my apologies, this is the version of Macbeth we watched in class) Roman Polanski’s (*spits*) The Tragedy of Macbeth and then talked for another fifteen.
I found the infamous video which earned me 100% in that particular project.
It was made on iMovie, I filmed it on my phone.
This isn’t where my Shakespeare obsession started, but it’s really where it got it’s claws in.

today I used the phrase "breasting boobily" in casual real life conversation and everyone was shocked asking how I came up with that and I had to explain it. ive been at the devil's sacrament so long that I forgot he wasn't god

I'm speechless.
This is now thought to likely be the biggest mass lobby EVER. Bigger even than section 28. I saw trans friends from across the entire country there. People who have travelled 7 hours to be there. Cis allies. Babies in prams and women older than my parents.
And our MPs listened. It really felt like I was witnessing a moment in history - a turning point for the fight for our rights.
You cannot tell me not to have hope. Not now.
The tide is turning.

Fanfiction is so silly. I am playing with my dolls and people are coming over to watch. Some of them even clap and give me compliments. And when I'm done playing, I can go and watch other people play with their dolls.

“if you’re sensitive to sounds when sleeping, just use earplugs!” i cannot stress enough that the sensory feeling of having my ears fully blocked AND now being able to hear my own heartbeat and breathing and every other sound that’s happening inside my own body is a million times worse than whatever ambient noise may be keeping me awake

I have been a sheep caretaker for like two days and already I'm like. Wow. I get it.
I get why these were some of the earliest mammals to ever be domesticated. They look up to humans with this sort of dumb but all at once innocent and pure and trusting expression. They're happy to see you. They follow you around. They like to be rubbed under their chins. Maybe its just some latent Scottish highland shepherd DNA I still have in me but I look at my sheep charges and suddenly I see why the love of God for humanity is so often described as a shepherd and his sheep. I'd fight a wolf for these guys. I'd go way the Hell out of my way for them. I'd carry their young for miles on my own back.

It’s finally here! A while of waiting, My zine sits porchside Content in its making.
These tan paper pages! What joy it procures! The challenge and triumph Of kitten health tours.
The prose it provides Recalls lovely days Where I’d scribble whole Poems in puerile haze.
Now I write content Allowed my old verse Inspired to sate This cat-given turse.

I got @pangur-and-grim’s “My kitten got sick” book of poetry (alerted from the mailman’s knocking—I could tell that Belphie was still ‘party rocking‘)! It inspired me to write again.
