I didn't ask if your feelings were justified, I asked if your behavior was acceptable.
Sometimes you will have every right to feel upset but this does not exempt you from treating people with decency and consideration, yes, even the ones you're upset with. You can feel hurt or uncomfortable and even communicate that without lashing out or trying to twist people's arms into responding to it in specific ways.
Our feelings are signals and it is wise to listen to them, not necessarily taking them at face value, mind, but acknowledging their presence, magnitude, context, and roots is necessary. But it is very different for it to be okay to feel your feelings and for it to be okay to respond to them however you want. Extreme feelings do not always justify extreme actions.

If something bothers you for a long time it means you really want it. But your wanting may not be correct, it might be misdirected. Sometimes you want for the wrong reasons, want the wrong things, want things because you’ll never have them
