Process of Writing
This module introduces the Process of Writing, the definitions, parts and types of writing.
Writing is an act or process of one who writes, such as the act or art of forming visible letters or characters specifically handwriting sense, the act or practice of literary or musical composition.
A writing system is a method of visually representing verbal communication, based on a script and a set of rules regulating its use. While both writing and speech are useful in conveying messages, writing differs in also being a reliable form of information storage and transfer.
Prewriting is the first stage of the writing process, typically followed by drafting, revision, editing and publishing.
Drafting, also spelled draughting, also called engineering drawing, graphical representation of structures, machines, and their component parts that communicates the engineering intent of a technical design to the craftsman or worker who makes the product.

Forms and Types of Creative Non-Fiction
This module introduces Autobiography, Biography, journal, Diary, Letter, Memoir, Literary Journalism or Reportage, Reflection Essay, Testimonio Essay, and Travelogue.
-Autobiography is the biography of oneself narrated by oneself.
-Biography is a form of literature, commonly considered nonfictional, the subject of which is the life of an individual.
- Journal is a daily written record of personal experiences and observations.
- Diary is a book in which one keeps a daily record of events and experiences.
- Letter is a written, typed, or printed communication, especially one sent in an envelope by mail or messenger.
- Memoir is a narrative, written from the perspective of the author, about an important part of their life.
- Literary Journalism or Reportage is a type of journalism that provides a readable and vivid account, with all essential details.
- Reflective writing is a form of creative writing where you examine an experience or situation through self-reflection.
- Testimonio Essay is a solemn attestation as to the truth of a matter.
- Travelogue is a story of the experiences encountered by someone while touring a place for the pleasure of travel.
  Module 6 also discusses the differences between diary and journal, biography and memoir, Reflection Essay and Testimonio Essay.

Using Literary Convention of a Genre in Writing.
Module five (5) help us to write the proper way to improve our creative writing skills.
A perfect story needed a catchy first paragraph to catch the attention of your reader or audience. By creating a story, you need to develop characters, choose a point of view, create dialogue, use settings, and Context, construct a Plot, Create Conflict and Tension, build a Crisis or Climax, and Find Resolution.

Truth and Creativity in Creative Nonfiction
This module taught us how each individual’s interpretation in a single scenario was different. Also, how to Analyze and interpret factual and nonfictional.
 For example, I was smiling, laughing, and crying at the same time while on the phone. My sister thought I already had a boyfriend or I'm going crazy, but I'm just reading Wattpad with different scenes.

Creative Nonfiction Demystified
This module introduces that Nonfiction is writing that is based on true events, people, places, and facts. Creative non-fiction is a genre of writing that uses literary styles and techniques to create factually accurate narratives. It can apply to various categories of writing, including food, travel, memoir, personal essay, and other hybridized forms. Creative nonfiction has elements that are scope, sequence, and pacing, also some of the similar elements of fiction. This module also discusses the Figures of speech. the figure of speech is a word or phrase that departs from literature. language to express comparison, add emphasis or clarity, or make the writing more interesting with the addition of color or freshness. There are several common kinds of figures of speech that should learn that can use in writing; alliteration, anaphora, antimetabole, antithesis, apostrophe, assonance, hyperbole, irony, metonymy, onomatopoeia, paradox, personification, pun, simile, synecdoche, and understatement.

The Literary Elements
If Module 1 told us what are the literary genres and their meanings. In module 2, it will discuss the elements inside of each genre in literature.
Fiction consists six (6) Elements: Character, Setting, Plot, Conflict, Point of view, and Theme. Character is the actor who live in the story. There are two (2) types of character in the story, the protagonist character who work toward the central story goal, and the Antagonist character who works against the goal. Setting is the answer from the question “where” and “when”. Plot tells the flow and what happens in the story. Gustav Freytag created the Freytag’s pyramid that contains five (5) parts; exposition, rising action, climax, Falling action, and the resolution. Conflict is the challenge for the main characters need to solve to achieve their goals. Point of view will answer the questions; Who is telling the story? And how is the story told? The point of view has three (3) types: first-person point of view, second-person point, and third-person point of view. Theme is the central idea or ideas explored in the story. it might be the subject matter or present itself as a message within the larger story.
Poetry has 3 elements to create a poem, first is Rhyme, A rhyme is a repetition of similar sounds in the final stressed syllables and any following syllables of two or more words. Next is Rhyme Scheme, Rhyme scheme is the pattern of rhyme that comes at the end of each verse or line in poetry. Lastly is Rhythm can be described as the beat and pace of a poem.
Drama is pretty much similar to fiction because drama also has the elements of fiction. But since drama is one of the performance arts it also has a different element to make it more different. Drama has Drama is pretty much similar to fiction because drama also has the elements of fiction.
This module taught us that all elements of each genre are important to create and to make perfect your literature.

A Close Look at the Literary Genres〜
In this module, I learned about Literature and the four (4) Literary Genres including; Fiction, Poetry, Drama, and Nonfiction.
Literature, literature is simply defined as “art of words”. In writing literature, writer should not be simply express human’s thought, feelings, experience, and aspiration but also reflect merit and brilliance of expression. Literary Genres, According, to Britannica (2016) genre was defined as a distinctive type or category of literary composition, such as the epic, tragedy, comedy, novel, and short story.
The four (4) major literary genres are fiction, poetry, drama, and nonfiction
            Fiction, according to Littlehale (2020), Fiction refers to a literary work which comes from the author’s imagination. Through the fictional narrative, a writer may inform, entertain, inspire, or even persuade. MasterClass (2019) classifies fiction into 14 different forms including; Literary Fiction, Mystery, Thriller, Horror, Historical, Romance, Western, Bildungsroman, Speculative fiction, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Dystopian, Magical realism, Realist literature. Also, there are Sub-Genres of Fiction which is Short Story, Novel, Myth, legend and Fable.
Poetry, Poetry is the literature that evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through language chosen and arranged for its meaning, sound, and rhythm. In Poem, there are two broad approaches can be used, the Narrative and Lyrical Poem. First is Narrative Poem, it tells a story with an orientation. Then the Lyrical Poem, it conveys an experience, or ideas, thoughts or feelings about a subject without necessarily having ‘something happens. Furthermore, the types of poetic forms which are; acrostic, ballad, chant and etc.
  Drama, Drama is the specific mode of fiction represented in performance: a play, opera, mime, ballet, etc., performed in a theatre, or on radio or television. There are four distinct types of drama; Comedy, Tragedy, Melodrama, and Musical Drama.
  Other Forms of Literary Genres or the non-fiction:
·         Diary is a record with discrete entries arranged by date reporting on what has happened over the course of a day or other period.
·         Memoir, a historical account or biography written from personal knowledge or special sources.
·         Speech is a formal address or discourse delivered to an audience.
