I want to make another felted pony

This will heal me

I wrote 5 stupid haikus about it. I couldn't limit it to one because of the poor skill involved. They get progressively stupid-er and worse.

It's really a rich vein.

Bound by barbed needle

Wool prometheus

A pony is born

Clopping echoes form

Needle finds its mark

Neighs ring out today

Fluffy crucible

Alchemize a newborn foal

Gallop unthwarted

Pink pony club foal

Cast in glory by jabbing

Born of violence

God, what have you done

A pink pony girl causing a skein makes no sense and I tried to make it work but obviously, it never could. Also wrote one inspired by the two-headed calf and it made me too sad so I deleted it and ain't that just the way 💔

Everyone’s been asking me about the bone mask pony. I know guys, it’s coming! Don’t worry everyone. I have been super busy with needle felt and clay sculpt commissions and getting stuck in time loops and zooming around in a fugue state and watching hockey and stressing out about everything ok GOD everyone just relax everyone

She’s done!!! And she’s poseable 😭 I had so much fun making her and I can’t believe I figured out how to make the mane and tail look sort of nice. I did a lot of experimentation with curling methods and various fixatives/pva dilutions. Thats very much still a work in progress.

The sketch is just quick and whatever but I wanted to post it with her idk why. Better photos of the felted pony soon.

I’m open to name suggestions! And I want to improve the cutie mark, it’s also kinda whatever and kind of reminds me of bacteria. And weirdly placed on the felted version.

liquify and the exact same colours as the subject is always good. Maybe this was her mom in the groovy seventies.

Also my tablet and pencil are acting weirdddddd. It is probably because they’re the 2017 model iirc and were purchased refurbished 4 or 5 years ago. It’s the iPad you impale with the pencil to connect or charge and it just sticks out of it like a bad omen 😵😵😵😵but I super can’t afford a new one. I daren’t fear the worst. because drawing ponies is bringing me back to life.
