The New Year Fic Writer/Readers Ask Game 2020

I was tagged by @aperrywilliams thank you so much for the tag!!

What was your biggest writing/reading achievement this year?

Probably my series “Best Years”, it gained me a lot of my followers and gave me a lot more confidence to keep writing. It’s still not my favorite piece I’ve ever written, but I am still very proud of it. 

I am also very proud of my fic “Fiery Bruises”, it was the first OC fic I wrote and it made me want to write a lot more of them!

what did you learn about yourself as a writer/reader this year?

As a writer, I learned that writing about more sensitive topics can be okay as long as you let people know what they’re getting into before they read it. Also that I really love writing OCs and putting myself or someone I love into each one of the characters I write. 

did you dive into something familiar or try something new this year?

Both, I wrote fics a lot a couple years back, but I also did something new by basically writing my own characters into Criminal Minds and Supernatural. 

share a comment (if a writer) or a story (if a reader) that lifted your spirits this year?

okay so every time someone said my series best years was their favorite made me cry. 

but a comment that made me get all the feels and cry was by @andiebeaword where at the end of “Run” she wrote “This was so beautifully tragic and fluffy and just...I need to go to bed but very well written!!!” 

It made me want to keep writing. 

Some stories I read that made me all gushy and get all the feels are:

Touch Of Your Love by @wukindly . 

This story made me feel everything!! I love Reggie's little Himbo self and this just made all my dreams come true. 

Line Without A Hook by @ourelectriclove. 

This story (and all they’re stories really) make me feel every emotion always. but this one hit a spot that I just can’t describe and ugh, I am a simp for Ethan Nestor. 

Once you say it out loud it can’t be undone by @straighttohellbuddy. 

I have no words to describe this one, I just suggest you read it and you’ll see what I mean.

I don’t think so, other than the fact I am planning on writing more OC based stories. 

what’s the first thing you want to read or write this year?

I would like to write a JATP one shot for Juke and some more things!!

To be more open to different kinds of story types

Okay so question AND PLEASE RESPOND!!

Do you guys prefer x reader things or OCs cause I’m currently writing an OC fic for Ethan Nestor (crankgamesplays) and I just wanna know what you guys like for future fics.

Okay I’m happy with it, in the end they all got what they wanted. Although I did think Dean would go differently. But Sam got his life, he had kids, he had a life. Dean got his happy ending, he died saving people. He got to give Sam his life, and that’s all he wanted. And I’m the end they all ended up together. We may have not seen it but in my heart, I know they did.
