I do think it's a myth that you have to completely empty your mind and always do witchcraft with a clear head.
It's also very difficult, if not downright impossible, each and every time. With or without neurodivergence and executive dysfunction involved.
And it's unnecessary.
I've cast spells, divined, done spirit work, even meditated with a monkey brain, and I worked with it and made it work.
It's more important to do what works for you and work with what you have.

Religion is so much more fun when you get a bit silly with it. My grandma was catholic by birth but buddhist by blood so when I was younger she had a Buddha statue with several rosaries slung around his neck and incense and fruit peppered around him like little guards

Readings the Farrar's "Witch's Bible" sheds so much light on the celebration of the Sabbats. I also love their ritual performance in how it is focused on expression of worship rather than the productivity of a spell or manifestation. I'm not big on the huge gender dichotomy that is central to their ritual especially when the entire coven is concerned. But I admit there is something inherently complete about both high priest and priestess performing the main ritual together. can't help but be engrossed by beautiful ritual design.
